Second Chance ?

I woke up to see King gone. No bye or nothing, I sat up, an looked around my room. Today is the baby shower, I'm currently 5 months.

I went to the doctors, a week ago an found out I was having a boy. I was so excited an still am.

I wobbled to the bathroom using it, I really wanted some ice cream an pickles. I looked in the freezer an I didn't have any ice cream.

The door unlocked an in walked King with some groceries. He sat then on the counter before hugging me.

" All For me Huh?"

"Yeah, Na all for you"

I sat at the table an looked at him unpacking. He turned around smirking at me. I giggled a little an got up.

" I hope you cooking little boy"

" Little boy?"

I nodded my head as he inched closer to me. He tickled my neck, an that's my weak spot, I squirmed hitting him.

"You going to make me pee"

He stopped an rubbed my belly. I looked at him for a second, not sure of what he was doing.

" I'm ya stepdaddy" I hit him on his hand. He rubbed his hands an smirked at me.

"Not yet anyways" I perched my lips up at him.

"You coming with me to set up some things for the baby shower" He nodded his head taking out some nachos.

"Them from Taco Bell" He nodded his head an I snatched it away from him.

" I knew ya ugly a** would take my shxt" He pulled out another Nacho making me laugh.

" You just knew huh?" He nodded an we started eating.

After I finished, I threw the trash away an got dressed. King has been sweet an comes through for me.

We just arrived at my baby's grandparents house. I walked in to see some decor already up for the shower.

" Looks good" I said hugging Davis, who's August dad.

"I'm so excited to see my first grand baby" Rachel who's August mom said rubbing my belly.

I laughed a little sitting back, my aunt an a few other family members that loved me arrived.

"Look at my baby" I stood up hugging my aunt Grace.

"Hey auntie"

"I'm so happy for you, where's the young father of this child" She didn't know August passed away.

"Auntie, I'll tell you later about it" She

The shower just offical started, people poured in from my side an august side of the fanily.

King didn't want to seem rude by sottting next to me, so he sat a few seats down. He would glance at me every once in a while, asking me if i was okay.

It was time for the toast, my aunt stood up smiling at me.

"This is my baby, an i love her very much. She's always been good to us an I know this baby is going to be happy an healty." I teard up a little bit.

The living room door opened an my mom walked in. King stood walking over to me, putting his hands around me.

"Why-why is she here" King pulled me behind him.

"Call 911, this os crazy" My aunt yelled causibg my mom to look at her.

My mom stepped closer, walking towards me. I stepped backwards an King blocked her.

"Na, im your mom, I got out on good behavior, an i wanted to see the baby." I shook my head as tears filled my eyes.

"King get her away from me" Police walked in.

They immediately handcuffed her, thanking my aunt for call.

"If it wasn't for you, we wluldnt have caught her" I gasped.

I knew she was lieing, King kissed my forhead. Rubbing my belly, they escorted her out.

"Can we go home" I looked at King, he grinned widely.

"Yeah" He packed the gifts up an i said my goodbyes to everyone.

"If you meed anything, don't hesitate to call me" I noddee my head as King helped me get into the car.

"You alright" I nodded my head as some tears ran down my face.

I felt myself being placed into my bed. I looked up to see King shirtless. Damn, Damn, Damn.

"Where you going" He was about to leave.

"I'll be back, just relax babygirl" My cheeks burned an i flipped over feeling the baby kick.

After i hung up, I had Na on my mind. She was everything a nigga needed an wanted.

"Aye, Rich" He nodded his head letting me in the building.

I made my way to V.I.P section where I found this nigga throwing stacks, but can't pay me back.

He threw me some stacks, I shook my head, pulling out my gun.

"Man I gave you the money"

"You right, but it took you 2 weeks, so here go 2 bullets for you" I shot him in both his arms.

I got a call from Na, this girl something else.

"What you need baby" I could tell she was cheesing, it took her a minute to say something.

"Im hungry lil boy"

"Chicken, no wait, some nachos,  maybe some chicken tender"
