New Life....Part 2

Ian chose my favorite eating place, he was sooo amazing to me,you just don't understand, but images of august kept popping up in my head.

" Baby, Baby You hear me" Ian. said eyeing me suspiciously

"Yeah a lot on my mind, that's all" I said trying to look cool

Before he could say something our food arrived. I said grace an started digging in when my phone rang. The office number popped up an I silently prayed it wasn't about myah an august.

" Hello"

" Noami we have a huge problem, our residents at the new home claim you gave them the wrong key"

" I am on my way" I was trying to figure a way out of this one.

" Baby...it's the off-" I got cut off by Ian

" It's always the office, go ahead"

He looked hurt, but work was work right?

Kissing him, I forgot I didn't bring my car. Walking back Ian was already at the car with my door opened.

" Ty"

Once we got to the office, I kissed Ian again an went in to find an unhappy myah with August holding the baby. Siting at my desk, myah just came at me.

" Who gives someone the wrong key, you stupid or something" She said staring at me

" Chill, it was an accident" August said looking apologetic

I quickly gave them the key an ushered them out. Not before August pulled me back into the office. I nearly slammed against my desk.

" You need to talk to me" He said looking at me.

" No I don't, there's nothing to talk about " I said a little angry

" You going to talk to me, I miss you"

Before I knew it he had his arms around me.

Pushing away I shook my head.

" I can't, Ian an me are together an I'm happy" I said looking down

" I understand an Im happy with Myah, but I still would like to talk to you again".

" Yeah Okay Here's my number" I said waiting for him to leave.

Walking out, I put him in my contacts under Missed Bestie.
