Chapter 14 - Oh My God

Freen have doctor appointment for Lily, she already took one day leave from her school.

"Where are you two going, you said you took leave"

Becky asked she is wearing her clothes for her work. Its like Becky live there. She even bring her things. Went to her place for few days but always running back.

"Doctor"
Becky looked at Freen,

"What happened, are you not ok"
Becky said moving towards Freen, putting her hand on her face.

"I am ok Becky, It's Lily"
"What happened to Lily, is something wrong with her?"
"Don't worry Becky, its just check up"
"What checkup"
"She has surgery when she was 3 months old, for that there is routine check up with her cardiologist"

Now Becky remembered the scar on Lily chest. She thought it's some weird birthmark.

"Is that the long scar in middle of her chest"
"Yeah, it already healed, that not so visible. As she is baby, her skin heal quickly and i put cream for that scar"
"I never thought like that, as she is a year old, she go through surgery"

Freen explain how Lily born with a defect on her heart, luckily she is ok now and living healthy, but they need to go for routine check up.

"OK I am coming with you"
"Becky, what about your work"
"Wait"

Becky call someone and talk that she has some emergency work in family.
"Let's go"
"Becky we can go ourselves, you go to work"
"Freen, its important to me, the one I call was my boss, she already said yes. Ok lets go"

Becky took Lily from Freen and they drive towards the Doctor.

After half an hour, they are sitting in doctor room, did whatever test they required. They are happy as Lily is totally fine, and she is healthy.

"Ohhh Lily, you are strong girl. And your Mommy is more stonger"
Doctor said with a wide smile on his face., he continue
"You know you are so beautiful, beautiful daughter, like Beautiful mother. Ok be a good girl, Lily"

Doctor said pinching Lily chubby cheek, little one looked at him, but she didn't smile. Freen smile a little.

Becky took a heavy deep breath, everyone in the room can hear loud and clear. Freen looked at Becky and raised her eyebrows. But Becky just rolled her eyes.

"OK then Lily's Mommy, your friend here must be very tired, see you next month, Lily. Stay healthy"

After thanking the doctor, Freen walk out with Lily, Becky just followed them. She took heavy breathing from time to time.

"Beck do you have breathing problem, you want to check up"
"Yes I have, did he always call you Mommy huuuh. What was that. Did you go here every month"

"Yes, Lily have to follow the routine check up each month till she turn 2. If she is fine that time, the duration of check up will be longer, maybe every six months."
"We need to change that doctor"
"What?"
"He is so flirty towards you"

Freen laugh, she walk towards Becky's car, Becky opened the passanger door, for them.

They were on the road
"Really, you need to change that doctor, he is flirty one"
"He is baby doctor, ok He talk like that to his patient.  He is good doctor Beck, he is really good. I know him since Lily was born. If he like me, he would make a move by now, we saw eachother every month. But no, he didn't do anything"

Becky side eye towards Freen.
"Next time, I also coming with you, I can't let you go alone. When is next appointment?"
"Next month"

Becky is pouted, the whole way. Freen asked her to go to shopping mall and dropped them, then she can go to work.
