Chapter 10 -Who You Are Waiting For

Becky dropped her heart, want to throw up with the information. Now she know yesterday young mother refer to Freen not Mrs Chankimha.

Becky eyes got welling up but she gather her strength not to fall a single droplet of tears, she is stubborn she succeed.

"It's only 10 min walk, its around the corner. She must be in day care to bring her daughter"

The woman said looking at her watch.
"Let's Go"

Becky didn't utter a single word, she just nod her head. She want to ran away but she want to see Freen with her own eyes. She just followed the woman pace.

The woman talk non stopped, in less than 10 min she cover lots of topic, but Becky didn't pay any attention, her mind is somewhere.

But Becky looked at her when she talk about Freen
"Are you her friend?"

Becky just nod her head
"I felt pity about her, you know living as single mother that young. Who in right mind leave her after you know"

Becky look at the woman, she know what the woman is talking about, she is talking about the father of the kid. The woman continue.

"Even she have a kid, with her beautiful face, many guys from school want to court her, but she never say yes to anyone. Said she is waiting for someone"

Becky want to know something
"How old her daughter is?"
"Uhmm must be around one, I don't know exactly. She is private person, she doesn't talk much to other"

Becky thought why Freen became private person, she talk to everyone. The one who doesn't talk is her.

They reach in front of building apartments,

"Here, this apartment where I live with my family, that one is where she live"

The woman said pointing next apartment building.

"Thank you Ms..."
"Carolin"
"Thank you Ms Caroline"
"You welcome, oh look here she comes"

Freen walk towards their way, a toddler on her arm.
She walk towards the building, without much concern about the surrounding.

"Sarocha, you have visitor"
Carolin call Freen, Freen immediately look at their way, her eyes widen to see Becky.

Freen automatically smile and ran towards Becky and hugged her, still baby is on her arm.

Becky didn't hugged back, she just stand there, but she whispered
"This is your promise"

Freen move her body and looked at Becky, her eyes are so tired, already her tears reached her cheek.

"Let's go inside and talk"
"What is there to talk, you have a daughter, thats definitely not mine"
Becky said looking straight to Freen's eyes.

"Babe"
"Don't you dare call me that, you broke your promise, you break my heart"
"No, I didn't, I never, can we go inside, please, people are looking at us"

Freen is begging her, then she look at her collegue, but Carolin is ready for drama, she just stand there little far. Some passer by also looked at them. The apartment is next to a street so few people pass the place.

"Answer me right here? Who is the father of your daughter? Did you get married?"
Becky is raising her voice

"No Beck No thats not what you thinking about, I never broke our promise, Listen to me, I am begging you can we go inside"
"No, I don't want to go in your filty place"

Freen look at Becky, tears droplet falls one after anothers. The baby is looking at Freen and about to crying, she start babbling
"Mama mama"

Becky heart dropped for second time, she looked at Freen then to the baby, she is really mad.
