Egypt Thousands of Years Ago
We open with the city of Thebes as the Sphinx was close to finish its construction as people were living their lives as they normally would. The soldiers were lined up as they kneeled when the Pharaoh rode past in his chariot.
Ardeth: <narrating> Thebes, City of the Living, crown jewel of Pharaoh Seti the First.
Later a man was looking at the city from his balcony as he wore a black tunic and he was bald.
Ardeth: <narrating> Home of Imhotep, Pharaoh's greatest priest, keeper of the dead.
Imhotep looked back to see a woman who was completely naked apart from a veil that covered between her legs and her whole body was painted she looked like royalty a little. She was walking towards him.
Ardeth; <narrating> birthplace of Anck-Su-Namun, Pharaoh's mistress. No other man was allowed to touch her.
Anck-Su-Namun walked past several priests who had their skin colored gold as they went to close the door while Anck-Su-Namun went to past the veil as she approached Imhotep.
Ardeth: <narrating> but for their love, they were willing to risk life itself.
Imhotep and Anck-Su-Namun kissed as Imhotep held her by her arms as he accidentally made some paint get smudged with his thumb.
At the door, the priests were close to closing the gate but then the Pharaoh came in as they bowed to him as he looked at the priests in confusion.
Seti: <ancient Egyptian> what are you doing here?
The Pharaoh walked forward as the priests closed the door and locked it as he went past the veil to see Anck-Su-Namun standing next to a cat statue petting it as she looked at the Pharaoh, however he saw the smudge of her arm.
Seti: <ancient Egyptian> who has touched you?!
Anck looked at her arm before she looked back at the Pharaoh and looking past him as he turned around as Imhotep took the Pharaoh's sword.
Seti: <Ancient Egyptian> Imhotep?! My priest!
Seti was so shocked by this revelation that Anck took this opportunity to stab the Pharaoh on his back as Imhotep and Anck just kept stabbing and slashing at the Pharaoh as the priests just watched. However the moment didn't last long as there was banging at the door.
Imhotep: <Ancient Egypt> Pharaoh's bodyguards.
The priests ran as the banging continued.
Anck: <Ancient Egypt> you must go! Save yourself!
Imhotep: <Ancient Egypt> no.
Anck: <Ancient Egypt> only you can resurrect me!
The door was forced open as the soldiers went in.
Imhotep: <Ancient Egypt> I won't leave you! Get away from me!
The priests pleaded him to run away as they dragged him away.
Imhotep; <Ancient Egypt> you shall live again! I will resurrect you!
Anck looked back as the soldiers saw the Pharaoh's corpse.
Anck: <Ancient Egypt> my body is no longer his temple!
Imhotep just saw as Anck stabbed herself in the gut killing herself.
Ardeth: <narrating> to resurrect Anck-Su-Namun, Imhotep and his priests broke into her crypt and stole her body. They raced deep into the desert, taking Anck-Su-Namun's corpse to Hamunaptra, City of the Dead, ancient burial site for the sons of pharaohs and resting place for the wealth of Egypt.
