Chapter Six

Anastasia's POV:

"Mom could I please go with dad!" Evelyn begs. 

"I don't know Evy." I said.

"Come on its just for the summer." She said. I sigh I look at my daughter who's giving me puppy dog eyes. 

"Fine, but I expect you to call me everyday. You are to listen to your father, if I so happen to hear that your misbehaving your coming home." I tell her.

"I promise I'll behave. Thank you!" She says as she hugs me. She then runs upstairs to pack her things. I then walk over to Nik and wrap my arms around him.

"I'll miss you." I say to him. 

"I'll be home before you know it." He tells me.

"You better be." I tell him. 

"Ready!" We hear Evelyn say. Nik and I laugh as he gives me a goodbye kiss. I watch as the three of them leave. I walk back into the house to see Kol leaning against the wall.

"Hello, daring." He said to me.

"Hello, Kol." I say with a smile. 

"I feel like a bite to eat. Care to join me?" He said. 

"I would love to join you." I say with a smile. 

Damon's POV:

I sit at the bar drinking my bourbon thinking of ways to save my brother when I see two unfamiliar people walk in. They were holding each other and laughing. I watch as the sat in the back far corner of the place. I decide to eavesdrop on there conversation. 

"That was amazing!" She said. 

"You my darling are everything I want and more. The way you seduced him he didn't expect it coming." The guy with her said. 

"Its my beauty, after you know I became more beautiful. It does work all the time but it gets the job done." She said. What the hell is she talking about? 

"Either way, it was magnificent, not a drop spilt." Vampires, they were vampires. Great just what we needed new vampires in the town. I down my drink and get up and walk towards them. I made eye contact with the woman, there was no doubt she was beautiful. 

"I don't think we've met, Damon Salvatore." I say to them. They looked at each other and then back at me.

"Anastasia." She said.

"Kol." He said. I look for any daylight rings and I see that Kol had one but Anastasia didn't so what is she?

"I don't think I've seen you two around here." I say to them.

"We're newish to the town. Moved here couple weeks maybe a month ago. So hard to keep track." She said. 

"Is that right... well I do hope your enjoying everything. I'll see you around." I say with a smile. I walked away and texted Ric to meet me at the Boarding House. 

Once I got to the house Ric was already waiting for me. I walked into the living room and also saw Elena. 

"We've got a problem." I say.

"What?" Ric said.

"I just ran into two new vampire." I say.

"What?" Ric said.

"Yep, one with a daylight ring one without." I say.

"Is that even possible?" Elena asked.

"There's another species of vampire, there called Cold Ones. They're pale, when they feed of human blood they're eyes are ruby red and they sparkle in the sunlight." Ric said.
