The Hybrid Swan

Chapter Seven

Anastasia's POV:

Nik and Evelyn are finally back in town. Apparently while making hybrids it failed, he found out that the doppelganger, Elena, was alive curtesy of Gloria, Esther finally told us that he needed the doppelganger's blood to make hybrids. So, Nik wanted me and Rebekah to meet him at the High School to help him. 

"I wish I could go with too." Evelyn says as Rebekah and I walk out the door.

"No." Was the last thing I said to her. Bekah and I get in the car and instantly drove of to the school. Once there we met Nik.

"Hello, love." He said pulling me into his arms and into a passionate kiss.

"I missed you." I say.

"Could you two not?" Bekah said. Nik rolls his eyes. 

"I need you two to find the Lockwood boy and bring him to me while I go find the doppelganger." He said.

"Done." I say. We all go our separate ways, while Nik is off finding Elena Bekah and I are off finding the wolf. We search every hallway and I was getting bored until Rebekah and I heard a male and female voice come from the end of the hall way we were at. They were standing next to each other talking. 

"You two are adorable." Rebekah said. 

"Ah, do we know you two?" The blond said. She must be Caroline. 

"Tyler.... the werewolf." Rebekah said. Making Caroline stand in front of him in a protective way. 

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." I warn her but she didn't listen. Rebekah attacked her snapping her neck and goes after the wolf. We then drag him into the gym where Nik, Elena, Bonnie and Matt stood. 

"Get off me!" Tyler said as he tries to get out of Rebekah's grip.

"I'd like you all to meet my sister, Rebekah. Word of warning she can be quite mean." He said.

"Don't be an ass." She said as she pushes Tyler towards Nik.

"And this beautiful woman is Anastasia." He says. With a smile on my face I walk towards him and he pulls me into his arms. The Bennett witch looked at me with widened eyes.

"I'm sorry but I can't have any part of this I told you Elena." She said and then she ran off. 

"Seems like the witch is scared of you love." Nik said to me. I shrug at him. 

"Leave him alone!" Elena demands. 

"I'm going to make this very simple. Every time I attempt to turn a werewolf into a vampire hybrid, they die during transition. Its quite horrible, actually." Nik said. He then proceeds to bite his wrist and shoves it into the werewolves mouth. Elena and Matt gasp in shock. He then proceeds to snap his neck. 

"Your blood is supposed to be the answer to all this mess. Shale we test that theory?" Nik said. Then in walks Stefan. 

"Rebekah, take wolf boy else where." Nik said to her. She then drags him out of the gym with Matt following behind her worried about his friend. 

"Come to save your damsel, mate?" Nik asked. I roll my eyes. 

"I'm going to find Bekah." I say walking away from them. I walk out of the gym and find her in the hallway. She was looking at someone's phone. 

"Snooping are we?" I asked her.

"Well, I'm bored." She said. As she continues to go through the phone she finds a picture that makes her extremely mad. She gets up and rushes back to the gym. I'm now left with Caroline and Tyler.
