  Chapter 11

Cang Yuan only felt that he was enduring the torture like countless times before. The bone-chilling coldness in his legs made this time more painful than any other time. In a daze, he saw the female, Su Cha.

Before he could drive her out, he fell into a new round of torture and the pain made him lose consciousness.

He thought he could just get through the night. In a daze, he felt someone feed him something. Unfortunately, he was in so much pain that he couldn't even lift a finger. He hated the feeling of being at the mercy of others.

Miraculously, his body began to regain some strength and the pain was subsiding.

When he was forced to take the medicine again, he felt the feminine scent of Su Cha.

When Cangyuan woke up the next morning, unlike the usual feeling of exhaustion, he was able to have a rare good sleep.

A familiar feminine scent wafted in his nostrils, and Su Cha woke up because of Cang Yuan's movements.

The two of them stared at each other, one sitting on the bed, and the other squatting beside the bed. Cangyuan's eyes were as cold and dark as ever, while Su Cha looked tired and lazy.

"Let go first." Su Cha spoke first, raising her wrist which had turned red.

Cangyuan suddenly came to his senses and loosened his hand. Su Cha shook her sore hands and glanced at the man on the bed with some resentment.

Cangyuan probably knew what happened last night. He just stared at the person on the ground, not knowing what to say for a moment.

Su Cha got up from the ground, yawned, rubbed her dizzy head, and said lazily: "I have already seen your injuries and poison. Don't think about killing me. I helped you after all, and you need me. I will go back to sleep first, and you can make lunch."

Then she left the room without looking back.

Cang Yuan was left alone, staring at Su Cha's departing back. What was the origin of this female? Many witch doctors couldn't even detect the poison in his body, but she could actually alleviate his pain. Did that mean that she might have a way to cure him?

Is this what she meant when she said he needed her?

Reaching out his hand, looking at the blue combat power condensed in his hand, Cangyuan's emerald green eyes were almost black.

Su Cha slept in a daze and didn't wake up until noon.

Cangyuan had already prepared the meal, a simple barbecue. Su Cha was too lazy to be picky and ate a little.

When Su Cha came back from the back mountain and saw Cang Yuan waiting for her under the tree, she remembered what she had forgotten.

Su Cha cleaned the wood ear mushrooms she picked and dried them on the stone slab.

The sunlight cast Cangyuan's shadow in front of her.

"Su Cha." Cang Yuan called her name seriously for the first time. Su Cha responded calmly and waited for Cang Yuan to continue.

"My injury?" There was some uncertainty in Cangyuan's tone.

Looking at Su Cha's jade-white face in the sun, he just opened his mouth and realized that the female in front of him was only 18 years old. Witch doctors are very rare, and it often takes a long time to learn to become a real witch doctor.
