Chapter 38 

  She took out a new bowl, poured out some spicy broth, blanched a piece of meat in the hot sauce, and put it on Cangyuan's plate.

  Cang Yuan picked up the chopsticks elegantly, picked up the piece of meat and ate it, then put down his chopsticks and continued to look at Su Cha.

  Su Cha: “...”

  The orc leader did not take Mo Nian's words seriously. He just thought that she was the female of an elder.

  Two young orcs heard the noise and moved towards Su Cha.

  "Are you Su Cha? I am an orc from the Zhuyin tribe." One of the orcs spoke first.

  "Yes." Su Cha replied politely, thinking in her heart which tribe the Zhuyin tribe was.

  "Hello Su Cha, my name is Shi Qing. I heard that your tribe has fine salt. My brother said he can buy it from you for 400 yuan a barrel."

  Su Cha then looked directly at the male in front of her. His eyes were looking at her excitedly.

  Su Cha remembered: "Mu Beichen is your brother?"

  "Yes." Shi Qing answered fluently.

  "How much do you want?"

  "30 tubes of salt and 20 tubes of barbecue ingredients."

  Su Cha thought for a moment and said to She Qing, "No problem. I collect all kinds of herbs. You can exchange them for herbs next time."

  Su Cha went to talk to the tribe leader, said a few more words and then left the scene. 

  While waiting, an orcs nearby stepped forward to inquire.  

  "You really bought fine salt for 400 a tube?"

  "Yes!" Shi qing held the salt in his arms like a treasure and looked at the orc in front of him vigilantly.

  "Why can you buy it for 400 a barrel? Isn't it 450 a barrel?" The orcs were very dissatisfied. No matter how they bargained, the chief of Lan Li refused to lower the price.

  But their salt is much better than the salt of the Ba Lin tribe, and it is indeed worth the price.

  "Of course it's because our eldest brother has a good relationship with the female Su Cha!" Shi Qing said proudly, as if he had a very thick thigh to lean on.

  Su Cha suddenly became the most popular female in the tribe, pursued by many males, but also envied by many females in the tribe.

  Especially Hu Luoluo, who had just lost her male. Her image had plummeted and she was no longer the gentle and delicate female she used to be.

  Cang Yuan had almost finished taking the medicine, so Su Cha called Cang Yuan over to check his pulse.

  "Your body has almost recovered. Starting tonight, you will need acupuncture to detoxify." Su Cha spoke about Cang Yuan's condition in a professional manner.

  Cang Yuan just nodded coldly. He didn't know what acupuncture was. But he just believed in this female. The poison that had tortured him for more than 20 years had been quiet for the past few months without any recurrence.

  The candle grass illuminated Su Cha's serious little face. Cang Yuan looked at Su Cha helplessly as she inserted long and thin needles into his exposed upper body.

  After all 36 silver needles were inserted, Cangyuan felt a little uncomfortable. A familiar yet strange feeling traveled throughout his body.

  Half a minute later, Su Cha took out a bone knife and pricked Cang Yuan's fingers, and used a bamboo tube to collect the dripping black poisonous blood. In an instant, the room was filled with a somewhat foul smell of blood.

  When the blood returned to its normal color Su Cha used animal skin to bandaged it up carefully.

  Su Cha threw the bamboo tube into the campfire. They made a crackling sound and soon disappeared.

  "Have you ever seen this kind of poison before?"

  Su Cha did not answer Cang Yuan's question. She just carefully pulled out the silver needles one by one, boiled them in hot water to disinfect them, and wiped them repeatedly.

  Cang Yuan turned around and put on all his clothes before he heard Su Cha's belated reply: "I have seen a lot of poisons, so you don't have to doubt my medical skills. They are much better than the incompetent witch doctor in your tribe."

  "I don't doubt your medical skills."
