“Hey, I thought Larusso hated the Cobras. What’s goin' on with him sittin’ over there like they’re best buds?” Mike asked as he glanced over at Daniel and the others.
“I don’t know what changed. They were arguing before and now it’s like they’re all friends. It’s weird.” Y/n shrugged.
Just then, she noticed Heather walking by and waved her over.
“Heather! Come join us.”
Heather looked a bit hesitant but then walked over and sat down with them.
The moment she sat, both Heather and Mike seemed a bit awkward.
Y/n didn’t notice the tension between them but Mike sure did.
“So, Y/n, you know, it’s nice havin' you around. Makes things... a bit more interesting.” Mike smirked.
He shot a quick glance at Heather and made sure she caught the message.
Y/n raised an eyebrow and found Mike’s sudden change in tone a bit strange.
“Uh... thanks, I guess.” She said.
She wasn't sure how to answer that.
Heather shifted uncomfortably in her seat, and noticed what Mike was doing but Y/n seemed oblivious to the reason behind the awkwardness.
Mike kept the casual flirting going and trief to send a message to Heather without being too obvious.
“You ever think about switchin sides, Y/n? Hangin out with me more often?” Mike teased.
Y/n laughed awkwardly and was not quite sure what to make of his behaviour but chose not to question it.
Heather, meanwhile, stayed quiet and her gaze flicked between Y/n and Mike and she was uncomfortable but tried not to show it.
It was an odd moment, one that Y/n didn’t fully understand but she decided to just let it go for now.
Heather noticed Johnny across the room and called out to him.
“Hey, Johnny! Come over here!”
Johnny, always ready for attention, grinned and made his way over to the table.
He sat down right beside Mike and made the situation even more awkward for Y/n.
Heather immediately started to flirt with Johnny.
“Johnny, you looked good out there on the field earlier.Maybe you should show off more often.”
Johnny smirked as he always enjoyed the attention.
“Yeah? You think so? Well, I got plenty of moves, Heather. Maybe I’ll give you a private lesson sometime." He winked at her.
Y/n sat there and felt really out of place now. Mike was right with her and Johnny was sitting there, flirting back with Heather.
It was like a strange back and forth game and Y/n didn’t know where to look or what to say.
Heather giggled and enjoyed Johnny’s attention and kept up her flirting to make sure Mike noticed.
“Oh, I’d love to see those moves, Johnny. You always know how to impress a girl.” She said sweetly.
“Well, what can I say? It’s a talent." He shrugged.
Y/n, meanwhile, just sat there awkwardly and felt like she was stuck in the middle of a weird situation.
She didn’t know if she should leave or stay but she decided to just sit there and hope things didn’t get any stranger.
