Wednesday opens her eyes and turns to Enid. She senses the tone. She knows Enid wants to talk about something important and whilst that didn't make Wednesday feel the most comfortable, it's Enid.

WEDNESDAY

You can tell me anything Enid. I've known you for two years, I've put up with you for two years. I can handle it

She half smiles. Enid melts

ENID

So. The thing is... that I was thinking really hard recently...

WEDNESDAY

How traumatic for you

Enid smiles and gives Wednesday a playful thump on the shoulder

I have a tendency to overthink and I wanted to be sure of what I was feeling and I wanted to be sure I could cope with the consequences of them

Enid rolls her eyes and turns on her side so she's closer to Wednesday

ENID

I am aware of that. Your lack of fear of consequence... very apparent... even got me suspended that one time...

Wednesday smiles and her eyes glaze over gently

ENID

ENID

Enid interrupts. Wednesday frowns in confusion and Enid takes a deeper breath

I look at him and he's fun to hang with, he's a good listener and he cares about me. He's a good friend
