Entering UA

The early morning sun filtered through the curtains of your room, casting soft golden light across your sleeping figure. You stirred slightly, a hand draped over your face, lost in the middle of some dream when the sound of knocking on your door jolted you back to reality.

"Y/N, wake up! You're going to be late for the UA second entrance exam!" your mom's voice echoed from the hallway.

You groaned, rolling over to bury your head in the pillow, wishing time would just freeze so you could sleep a little longer. But this was your reality-and despite your quirk, *Prime Time*, you couldn't pause your responsibilities forever. As tempting as it was, your future at UA was on the line.

"Y/N!" your mom's voice was louder, more urgent. "Thirty minutes! Get your ass up now!"

"Fuck..." you muttered, rubbing your eyes and sitting up. You'd wanted to be up earlier to prepare, but apparently that plan had failed miserably.

You threw the covers off and stumbled out of bed, yawning as you made your way to the bathroom. Splashing cold water on your face, you blinked at your reflection. This was it-the day you'd been waiting for, the day you'd either make it into UA or crash and burn like some tragic wannabe hero. No pressure.

Your second quirk, *Draw to Life*, had helped you breeze through many situations in the past, but this was different. UA had standards, and you couldn't rely on sketching your way out of everything.

"Damn it, I got this," you whispered to yourself, smirking at the mirror before quickly getting dressed.

Once you were ready, you grabbed your bag and ran downstairs, your heart already racing. Your mom was waiting by the door, car keys in hand, tapping her foot impatiently.

"Finally," she sighed, giving you a look. "You've got twenty minutes until the exam starts. If you fail because you were late, I swear to God..."

You rolled your eyes, laughing. "Relax, Mom. I'm gonna kill it." But deep down, you weren't so sure.

The drive to UA was filled with an almost unbearable tension. Your mom kept glancing at you, but you didn't bother speaking. Your thoughts were already racing ahead, imagining what was waiting for you at the exam. You had seen some crazy shit in the news about UA's entrance exams-Deku breaking his damn arms during his test, barely managing to save a girl with a single punch.

"That's some serious next-level shit," you mumbled to yourself, thinking of how out of control things could get. "If I end up like that, I'm so screwed."

Your mom pulled up to the gates of UA, snapping you out of your thoughts. "You've got this," she said, her voice softer now, more encouraging. "Just do your best, Y/N."

You nodded, pulling the door open. "I know. I'll see you after."

Once you stepped out of the car, it felt like the world shifted. The atmosphere around UA was intense. Other students-your competition-were scattered around, each one focused, determined to prove they had what it took.

You walked toward the exam grounds, trying to psych yourself up, repeating in your head, *Don't fuck this up. Don't fuck this up.* The written part of the exam had gone by in a blur, and now it was time for the practical test-what really mattered. Your heart pounded in your chest as you stepped into the massive training grounds where the exam would take place. The announcement crackled over the loudspeakers, explaining the rules of the test-robots, lots of them, and you'd have to destroy as many as possible to rack up points.

"You've gotta be kidding me," you muttered under your breath, your mind racing as the timer started counting down.

The robots started moving immediately, advancing toward the group of examinees, and chaos erupted. Explosions, quirks being unleashed left and right, everyone giving it their all. You were faster though, mentally rewinding time for just a few seconds to analyze the movements of the nearest robot, then using *Prime Time* to pause the flow of everything.

The world around you froze, and in the silence, you grinned.

"Time to cheat the system," you whispered, pulling out your sketchpad. In a matter of seconds, you sketched out a massive robot, its limbs sharp and deadly, towering over everything. As soon as you finished the final line, the drawing lifted off the page, materializing in the world around you.

With a flick of your wrist, the robot charged forward, tearing through the other machines like they were nothing. Metal clashed, sparks flew, and points began racking up in your favor as your creation obliterated everything in its path.

After a few moments, you snapped your fingers, resuming time. The world roared back to life around you, and no one had any idea what had just happened-except for the destruction that remained.

"Holy shit..." you grinned, breathless. You could hear shouts of surprise from other students, but you didn't stop to listen. You kept going, attacking with precision, focusing on getting as many points as possible.

Time flew by in a blur, and before you knew it, the exam was over. You stood there, panting, adrenaline still coursing through your veins, as you watched the other students slowly realize what had just happened. But you didn't care about them. All that mattered was that you'd done it-you'd survived the test.

Time Skip

Days later, you were back at home, anxiously waiting for the results. You couldn't sit still, pacing back and forth in the living room. Your mom was watching you from the couch, trying not to laugh.

"Y/N, sit down before you wear a hole in the floor," she said, shaking her head.

Just as you were about to snap at her, the doorbell rang, and your heart nearly leapt out of your chest. You rushed to open it, and there it was-a package from UA. Your hands trembled as you opened it, pulling out a shiny CD.

"What the hell...?" you muttered, staring at it.

Your mom came up behind you, her eyes wide. "Play it. Now."

You scrambled to the nearest player, popping the CD in and hitting play. The screen flickered, and suddenly, All Might's face appeared.

"Congratulations, Y/N L/N!" he boomed, his voice full of energy. "You've been accepted to UA's Hero Course!"

You felt your knees nearly give out beneath you as the words sank in. You'd done it. You'd actually fucking done it.

Your mom pulled you into a tight hug, laughing with pure joy. "I told you!" she shouted, her voice full of pride. "I told you you'd make it!"

You grinned, your heart soaring. "Hell yeah, I did."

The two of you spent the rest of the day celebrating, your mind still spinning with disbelief and excitement. You were going to UA. The future was yours for the taking.
