(NON-CANON)
This is the pic!It was Halloween night, and Leo was excited to participate in trick-or-treating for the first time in years. The streets were alive with a sea of colorful costumes, and the sound of children’s laughter echoed throughout the neighborhood. Leo, dressed in a makeshift superhero costume, made his way through the streets, holding a candy bag that was already half full.
“This is so much fun,” Leo muttered to himself as he walked up to the next house, admiring the Halloween decorations scattered across the yard. Skeletons, glowing jack-o'-lanterns, and cobwebs filled the place, adding to the eerie atmosphere. Leo chuckled. He loved the creativity people put into the holiday.
He knocked on the door, expecting another sweet old lady or a group of excited kids answering. But when the door opened, he was met with something—or rather, someone—completely unexpected.
Standing in the doorway was a guy, shirtless, wearing only a pair of jeans and a creepy but somehow attractive vampire mask. His toned body was bathed in the soft glow from the porch light, and Leo found himself momentarily speechless. The guy leaned against the doorframe, looking as if he had just rolled out of bed—or maybe a party.
“Uh, trick or treat?” Leo managed to say, awkwardly holding up his candy bag.
The guy tilted his head slightly, his lips twitching under the mask. “Is that supposed to be a superhero costume?” he asked, his voice low and amused.
Leo blinked, caught off guard. The guy’s voice was deep, a bit teasing, and for some reason, it made his heart race. “Yeah, well, it’s last minute. What’s your excuse for being shirtless?”
The guy chuckled, and the sound sent a shiver down Leo’s spine. “It’s Halloween, isn’t it? Isn’t this what people expect?”
Leo rolled his eyes, trying to play it cool even though he couldn’t stop staring. There was something about this guy—something familiar, though Leo couldn’t quite put his finger on it.
“You’re not going to give me candy?” Leo asked, realizing he was still standing there like a fool.
The shirtless guy stepped back, as if considering it. “What’s in it for me?”
“Uh, the satisfaction of participating in Halloween?” Leo shot back sarcastically, though he couldn’t help the smirk forming on his face.
The guy chuckled again before turning to grab a bowl of candy from a nearby table. He reached in and pulled out a single, tiny candy bar, holding it up for Leo to take.
“Just one?” Leo raised an eyebrow, trying to sound indignant but feeling far too distracted by the guy’s abs.
“That’s all you get for a half-hearted costume,” the guy teased, tossing the candy into Leo’s bag before closing the door partway. “Better luck next year, hero.”
