You wave your parents a goodnight before turning back to Keigo. .. it got a lot awkward between you both because of your parents

"Sorry about them.. you know how embarrassing and protective parents tend to be..haha"

Keigo continues to remain quiet for the moment. He’s not looking at you, and he’s still bristling with jealousy and agitation. He clenches his teeth again, struggling to stay quiet and not say anything he’ll regret. He’s literally about to explode right now, and he can’t hold on much longer

"Keigo?"

Keigo finally speaks after a few more moments, but his voice is low and tense. He’s trying his best to keep his voice level and to not show how much he’s really feeling right now

“Who the hell is “Alex”?”

"Oh .. you are bothered about him..
Well .. Alex -"

Keigo’s already tense wings jerk more at that. Yeah, he’s obviously bothered about this guy. And right now, he’s getting even more annoyed by your casual reaction to asking about him. He continues to keep his voice level as he stares at you

“Yes I am bothered about him. Who is he?!”

"He's the son of a close friend of the family. That's why father respects them"

Keigo’s wings jerk furiously again as he listens to you explain who “Alex” is. So your family is close with him, and your father likes him? Great. That just makes him even more jealous and frustrated. Keigo can’t help but scoff at that word “respect” right now, and he looks at you again

“So your parents like him?”

"As you saw.. my mother really hates him but father is the opposite." You add,
"You don't have to worry about him Keigo, even if he does propose to me, I would still refuse him"

Keigo can feel the jealousy grow even more as you mention “proposing”, and his wings jerk even harder this time. Why on earth are your parents speculating about him proposing to you? It shouldn’t bother him this much, since he’s the one that broke things off. But right now, he feels like punching something everytime you mention “proposing”. He speaks again but the tension and annoyance in his voice is getting more and more obvious

“Why would he even propose to you?”

"I don't know .. perhaps he needs a wife ?
I don't know"

You shrug your shoulders, as you get down to the floor of the kitchen and start collecting Keigo's feathers.

Keigo quietly lets out a growl as he watches you collect his feathers. He’s silently fuming right now, but seeing you casually getting his feathers like that is only making him even more agitated. Why are you acting so calm after everything your parents talked about? How can you just shrug your shoulders and act normal while he feels like he’s going mad with jealousy right now?

All of a sudden, he can’t hold back anymore. The jealousy and agitation is starting to overpower him more and more with every moment that passes. He’s sick and tired of holding everything back. Why are you acting like nothing is bothering you right now? Why are you so calm and casual as if he didn’t just listen to your parents talking about you marrying another man? His voice is still tense and low as he finally speaks again.

“Don’t you care at all that they keep gushing about you marrying someone else?”

"Sigh.. they can talk all they want Keigo.
At the end it's my decision to say yes or no"

Keigo shudder as he can feel every touch of your fingers in every feather you pick.

Keigo’s wings jerk again at your words, the feeling of you touching the feathers are only making him even more irritated and tense. He can’t believe you’re just acting so calm and nonchalant at the moment. He’s losing control and his jealousy is taking over more and more with each passing second
