Introduction to this World

Percy's POV:

The door opened to reveal a man enter the room. He was wearing a white collar shirt and had short black hair. Percy then took another minute to take in what was behind that man. There, standing in a police uniform, was some guy with the head of a cat. He even had a bell instead of a tie! And his eyes were so big!

"Are you a tabby?"

Percy was just as confused as Leo but neither of the men answered. Instead, Percy was led out of the room to an interrogation room with a metal table and all. Percy was told to sit down and readied himself for whatever happened next. He didn't realize it but there was a third person, some lady, who came in the room with them. The man said something in Japanese and then the lady turned to Percy.

"Percy Jackson, this is Detective Tsukauchi and his partner Sansa. I am Hana Watanabe and I'll be your translator," after she was finished Tsukauchi spoke again.

"He's asking what your age is."

"Oh, I'm..." Percy didn't know what to say. They didn't seem to be threats and for some reason Percy had a feeling to trust them. But would they even believe him? Whatever the case, there was a literal cat man in the room with them so wherever he was everything was pretty crazy, right? So, there was a chance they would believe him.

"Okay, this is going to sound crazy but I'm seventeen in my fifteen-year-old body."

Tsukauchi didn't even seem fazed and just jotted it down in the file.

"What's your quirk?" Percy just stared at Hana, then Tsukauchi.

"What's a 'quirk'?"

Nico's POV:

He heard insistent tapping and rubbed his eyes. Why was the room so bright? Wait, he wasn't in a room before. Nico jolted up right and almost leaped from the bed before realizing that Leo was there with him.

"Oh, Death Boy, you're awake," Leo said to him, stopping the tapping on the bed's metal. Nico ignored the silly expressions Leo was making and instead scoured the room. Gosh, the light was sure giving him a headache. It seemed like he was in some sort of mad scientist lab, a sterile containment for mutants. Nico sighed.

"I don't suppose you know where we are?"

"Japan, but other than that, nope!"

Nico sighed again. Great, I'm stuck somewhere and with him. Leo copied his sigh with an impish grin. Leo filled Nico in on everything and that was when Nico noticed the difference in his smile, like he was really freaking out and trying to keep it hidden.

"Are you okay?" Nico asked.

"No, they took Percy with some cat-dude, and they have all our stuff, do you think I'm okay?!"

"Well, I was just asking."

After waiting for what felt like eternity, Nico saw the door open. A man walked in with, Leo wasn't kidding, a guy with a cat head and some lady. In front of cat-guy and the woman was Percy, giving a sarcastic wave.

"Your turn," the lady said, and Leo left with the odd police people.

(Time skip)

Leo's POV:

"What do we do now?"

"We are waiting for my sister to arrive and give you all the ability to speak Japanese. Then, you all can proceed with Detective Tsukauchi."

At his name, Tsukauchi waved at them from his seat. They had all been moved to the police lobby after it was identified they weren't a threat. From what they had gathered a 'quirk' was like a superpower, like how Hana could understand any language. Leo wondered if fire quirks were common and who that fire-dude was when he first arrived.
