I rub the sleepiness from my eyes and grab my giant comforter from my bed. I go towards my window and look out to see Livie sitting with her legs crossed under a tree closest to my window. I smile to myself and throw on a random shirt and dark grey joggers. I make my way quietly down stairs.

I see her come up to the front door from the window behind the couch and I get a glimpse of her face. I immediately get a sense of nervousness because I forgot how stunning and beautiful she is. I hurry to the door and quietly unlock and open. She had on a dark hoodie that fit her torso perfectly. Her hair was down and flowing over her shoulders and her face was highlighted by the moon. "So are you going to let me in?" She says. I shake away the thoughts and blush letting her in. "Why are you even here?" I ask with a small chuckle. "I was bored and I am in deed an insomniac." She says turning around smiling walking backwards. "We need to keep our voices down. It's a school night.." I say closing the front door quietly. "So?" She says stopping waiting for me. "So what? I can't miss school." I say going up stairs. "Have you ever even skipped school?" She asks. My stomach tingles and my cheeks are hot. "Luke... Oh my god. You never have!" She says raising her voice a little more than I hoped she would. "Shhh!" I say with a finger over my lips. "I think that you are disrespecting the whole idea of being a teenager." She says still following me to my room. We finally make it to my room quietly and she plops down onto my bed. "I think that you should skip tomorrow." She says pointing at me when she says you. "Um. I disagree." I say internally scared of the consequences of skipping. "I disagree with you disagreeing." She says raising an eyebrow. "I think that's pathetic. I'm going to go roam your pantries for spaghetti." She says running a hand through her long blonde hair. "Livie!" I say in a quiet yell. I sigh and it feels like the room is spinning. I hear her boots making thuds on the hardwood stairs and I try to catch up with her. I can see her hair bouncing from behind and I am totally mesmerized. "Livie we are not making spaghetti at 2AM." I say to her. She turns around with pouty lips and she puts her hood up. She sighs as I keep saying no towards her adorable pouty face. "Fine. We are going to make it at my place then. And we won't have to worry about waking anyone up." She says with a sly smile. My cheeks heat up as she takes my hand and starts toward the pantry. "Chill yourself." She says with her small cold hand on my cheek. "And stop blushing." My face heats up at a million degrees as she pulls away. "W-What about my mom?" I ask as she stands on her tippy toes reaching for the noodles. I walk up behind her and easily reach and hand them to her. She gives me a sarcastic smile and starts for the sauce. "Leave a note" her voice muffles as her head is in a cabinet ravishing through all of our food. "W-" "No more questions." She interrupts me. My hearts beating a million times per second as she heads towards the door. "Livie." I beg as she stops at the door. "I'm not leaving without you." She says making me swallow harshly. She nods with a smile and I rush up the stairs for a piece of paper and pen.

Mom,
I went to a friends house. Call if you get worried. I got sick last night and started to throw up so shes taking me to her house. Hard to believe, I know. But I just needed a friend, love you

- Luke

I cringe at the stupid letter. I slide it under her door and grab my phone charger and make my way downstairs. As soon as I get off of the last step, Livie is no where in sight. I start to panic and rush outside. Still no Livie or a grey car. I start to go back in when a light blur catches my eye. I turn to see what it is, and it's a grey car coming into my driveway. The light from inside turns on and I can see Livie with a small smile and her hood up.
