A Waterloo road story
Season 11-
"Darling your love is like walking a bed of nails"
A young girl who finds her true friends and family while attending school.
Or
A girl who finds love after searching for so long.
Jules was in the bathroom staring in the mirror while attempting to clean herself down from the red paint which was all over her shirt from the 'peaceful' protest that had happened that morning.
She rummaged through her handbag and found a small plain white top, it wasn't school uniform but she didn't really have any choice since the paint would not come off at all.
Tonya walked in with a small smile on her face "you alright?" She asked the girl she didn't exactly know her very well.
Julieanne turned around to the red headed girl and sighed "not exactly my uniforms ruined my dad is gonna go nuts!" She crossed her arms.
Tonya nodded "yeah I get you on that" she smiled "my mums gone mad at me and our Preston" she laughed slightly.
Julieanne nodded a small laugh making her lips curl "Tonya right? Your in my English class with spratt?" Which Tonya nodded in reply.
"Yeah" she smiled "Julianne right?"
Julianne nodded "just call me jules" she said softly and tonya nodded.
She wondered to herself why she never actually spoke to Tonya before she seemed like a lovely girl to be around she just never bothered because she looked like what kids these days call a 'chav'.

Jules went to her first lesson which was with miss spratt, she sat down at the back beside her friend Dwayne Jackson.
She was sat back in her chair her arms folded while everyone was going on about tattoos, dwayne had started the conversation when he noticed miss spratts tattoo.
She came out of her thought when she heard shola say "men can be slag's too you know" she just looked around twiddling with her thumbs.
If she wasn't acting up and lashing out she was being quiet and not really speaking.
Dwayne looked at her with a smile "are you okay? Do you need some air?" He furrowed his brows worriedly.
She shook her head "I'm fine Dwayne." She said while moving her long brunette hair out of her face.
Dwayne nodded but was in disbelief that she was actually fine.
Miss spratt cleared her throat "everything okay back there?" She said directing it to dwayne and Julie Anne.
Julie Anne slightly rolled her eyes "I'm fine just leave it miss" She sighed biting her bottom lip.
Julieanne was known as being a troublemaker and a rebellious student when it came to school although her grades weren't the worst she just hated school and could never really focus or that's what her excuse was at least:

The bell had rang and everyone had left and jules was packing her stuff away to leave but miss spratt stopped her.
"Julieanne? Can I have a word?" She asked calmly.
Jules nodded knowing this wasn't gonna be good at all, it never is.
"What's up miss?" She said putting her bag on her shoulder and picking up her phone.
"Are you sure you're alright? You seemed really out of place and you weren't really paying attention were you?" She smiled weakly.
Jules sighed "miss I'm fine.." she looked at the pink haired teacher.
"Okay well if you need anything jules just come to me okay?" She nodded.

Jules hated confrontation she also hated when teachers noticed what was wrong, she always told people she was fine she could be dying but she still told them she was okay.
The day was coming to an end and she was packing up her bag for her last lesson while she spoke to dwayne, there was something about dwayne she didn't know what it was he was so nice a lot nicer than the boys she actually hung around with, well one of them anyways.
Dwayne smiled "why not you hang out with us later?" He asked.
Jules smiled at his question but shook her head "sorry I can't "she sighed "I have a ton of homework to do.."
Dwayne sighed "okay uh.. yeah that's fine" he smiled gently touching her shoulder "I'll see you tomorrow?"
Jules nodded with a smile"yeah of course"

Jules grabbed her keys out of the pocket of her blazer and unlocked the door, she was always home first considering her dad was some sort of teacher she didn't really know the ins and outs of it though.
After a while of being home it was about 6pm and she heard her dad walking in, she rolled her eyes knowing he would have found out about the protest somehow.
"Julieanne Leigh Hawthorne!" Her dad yelled while walking in the kitchen with his briefcase seeing his daughter stood with a glass of water "what the hell are you playing at?" He crossed his arms.
Jules sighed "dad it was meant to be peaceful" she shrugged "not much I can do now is there"
"Don't get lippy with me Julianne" he pinched the bridge of his nose "I'm gonna have to buy new uniform now"
"You can afford it though" she shrugged
"That's not the point Jules!" He sighed "it's expensive!" He looked down at his daughter shaking his head "you're always acting out Jules it needs to stop or I will request a move so I'm working at your school."
Julieanne froze for a moment "dad please don't.." she bit her lip "I promise I'll stop" she smiled weakly.
Christopher sighed "come here" he gestured and pulled his daughter in for a hug kissing her forehead "I love you okay?" He smiled "just talk to me from time to time."
Jules smiled weakly hugging her dad for a moment before she pulled away "well I need to go do my homework" she said before taking her shoes off and running up the stairs.
Christopher watched and sighed he really wanted his daughter to talk instead of acting or lashing out at folk.
