The room erupts into chaos as Touya kicks his feet up on the chair next to him and leans back in his seat. The three kids run in from the living room and are now crowded around them at the table, wide eyed.

"WHAT THE HELL!" Both Bakugos yell out at the same time.

"Mitsuki." Inko glances at Izuku nervously, covering his ears.

Touya rolls his eyes fondly, knowing Izuku's already been exposed to Katsuki's, and his, rough vocabulary many, many times before now. He was pretty sure the kid wasn't even listening to the conversation, lips moving as he mutters to himself.

"Katsuki! Language!"

"You said it first, old hag!"

"Pro hero Hawks?! Wow, he's so cool! He has such a versatile quirk! There's a video of him online where he rescues twenty people in seconds! It's insane! And he's so young too. According to the forums, he's poised to break the top ten by the end of next year. He'll be the youngest one to do that. Oh man, I have so many questions! Do you think you could ask - "

"Oi, Deku. You're muttering again."

"Damn kid, you really went straight for the top, huh?" Mitsuki winks at him.

"I'm happy for you, sweetheart. Is he treating you right?"

"He better be or I'll kick his ass." The older Bakugo cocks a brow and makes a show of clenching her fist in front of her face. Touya smirks when he sees Katsuki at her side not-so-subtly nodding in agreement. Little brat could pretend not to care, but he did in his own way.

He rolls his eyes. "Yeah, yeah. He's the perfect gentleman."

"A hero, huh?" His brother finally speaks up, head tilted to the side. Probably trying to piece together how he got over his distaste for anything hero-related so fast.

He smiles guiltily before shrugging. "Turns out they're not all bad." The double meaning in that statement is something only the two of them can understand. Shouto nods but still looks wary, lips pursed and eyes searching his face.

Shouto had to know the risk he was taking with Hawks. After all, Touya had been drilling it into the boy's head for months now. How they couldn't draw attention, couldn't let any heroes get too close to them. He supposed it was a little bit hypocritical of him, seeing how he had Hawks pressed up against him a few days earlier. Not that Shouto needed to know that.

But his brother trusted him to make the right decisions. He always had, ever since they'd started their journey together. So Touya knew Shouto wouldn't push the issue unless he brought it up first. At some point, he would probably have to, Shouto deserved an explanation after all, but not today. Not with four pairs of eyes boring into them.

"So." Mitsuki leans in towards him, eyes alight with mischief. Inko moves closer at her side, trying to be more subtle. A feeling of dread curls in his stomach as he stares down the two vultures across from him. "Give us the details."

Touya groans. "I'm going to regret this, aren't I?"

Touya barely makes it into the alleyway when Hawks lands in front of him, wings flared out in an intimidating display against the golden morning sun. His hero costume is in pristine condition, visor and headphones positioned perfectly on his head. All chiseled jaw, bright-eyed, soft blond hair falling just right over his face. He was always so put together, it was annoying. Touya never knew if he wanted to kiss him or punch him in his stupid, perfect face.
