Y/n leaned back against the cushions, her body relaxing as the weight of the evening started to catch up to her. Isagi sat next to her, his arm resting on the back of the couch, just a little too close, but in a way that made Y/n's heart flutter.
She had always thought that her 'crush' on Isagi was something small, something insignificant.
It wasn't anything serious—just a result of spending so much time with him. She never questioned it too much, assuming it was just because they were so close.
Boy was she wrong...
Isagi had matured— his face sharper, more defined, his jawline strong and noticeable in a way that made her stomach flip.
He had grown taller, his shoulders broader, and his muscles bigger. The way he carried himself too— more confident, more composed.
Even his voice had deepened. Everything about him seemed more... alluring now.
This man was FINE...
Y/n's lips curved into a small, playful smile. "So," she started, her voice low and teasing, "You missed me?"
Isagi's lips curled into a lazy smirk before his expression softened into a grin that matched her energy. "Very much." he replied, his voice quiet but genuine, his eyes still holding hers.
Y/n chuckled, shaking her head slightly in amusement.
Despite her crush on him, she had always been able to act normal around him— no matter her feelings.
Y/n let her head fall back against the cushions, a soft sigh escaping her lips. "It's cold here..." she muttered, glancing around before pouting her lips.
Isagi chuckled, shaking his head. "You always say that..." He said, his tone light.
Y/n rolled her eyes before moping, reaching for the plaid that laid further away from her on the couch and pulling it over legs and shoulders.
"Wanna go to my room? It's warmer upstairs." Isagi glanced over at her again, his voice low. "We can play that game you like..."
Y/n was about to respond when a yawn was about to escape and she brought her hand up to cover her mouth. Isagi noticed immediately, a knowing grin tugging at his lips.
She had been up since early in the morning and had barely slept the night before, still busy packing her suitcase. When she did have the chance to sleep in the plane, she didn't take it, being way too excited to close an eye...
Y/n shook her head, fighting the drowsiness of her long day. "If we go to your room, I'd fall asleep," she sighed, tiredness creeping into her voice.
"We could stay here and... watch a movie?" She suggested, Isagi raising an eyebrow at her.
"So you can fall asleep unnoticed?" Isagi smirked, his eyes gleaming.
