♡A Year Since the Breakup
♡Today marks one year since our breakup, but I still remember everything about you. I recall our playful antics, the way we’d annoy each other, and those long hours spent on the phone. It’s unexpected how the stranger I met in 8th grade could become a stranger again by 11th grade.
♡I think about how beautiful our story began, like the best love stories, yet the ending was equally painful.
♡I still remember our first meeting. After two years of lockdown, school had finally reopened, and you were the new admission in my class. When I first saw you, I had no idea that this stranger would one day become my best friend.
♡When you introduced yourself, I thought, “Just another normal guy.” In movies, when the hero meets the heroine, there's always a spark, but honestly, I felt nothing at that moment.
♡Then, I remember during a free period, my friends dared me to talk to the new student and ask if he had a girlfriend. I was so nervous before approaching you, but I gathered my courage and walked over.
♡And then, you ignored me. I can never forget that first moment. I came to talk to you, and you brushed me off. From that day, I decided to see you as my enemy—I just hated that new student. We were both average-looking, but your attitude that day sparked the beginning of our tale of rivalry.
