Zori ushers Dorian down the stairs and gently drags both of the boys to the ground in a huddle.
Nick: the captain of the guards is rj, he's probably out here looking for me!

As the old man sits at his desk, having a conversation with one of the kids, he sees two Royal guards approach the door. He ushers Dorian through the secret door and shuts it. He quickly turns and sits in his desk before RJ and his apprentice ember barge in. RJ walks straight towards the desk while ember stands in the corner of the room
