I scoffed and said.

I said and sat on the bench again.
"I'll only say once and for the last. And a very humble request, after we exit from here, please does pretend that you never heard anything and please once I start, don't look at me with sympathy or something like that."
He nodded and sat beside me and I continued.
Flashback starts
I was going home with Abhimanyu after our school ended. I will soon be 16 and he is 18 right now. We just gave our last exam of this session, me for 10th standard and him for 12th. Soon, I'll be in 11th standard and he'll be in his 1st year of college.
We were walking to home but someone called Abhimanyu from behind. We both turned around and saw a girl coming towards us with something in her hand.
She kneeled down on her knee in front of him and forwarded her hand towards Abhimanyu who was standing beside me. She looked at him and said to him while giving him a flower in her hand.
"Abhimanyu, I like you so much, will you date me? I am desperately willing to be with you."
She said to him and I looked at him and he does the same.
"I am thankful to you for liking me but I can't do the same to you. There is someone whom I like too. So, I am sorry about that. I can't accept your proposal."
He said while looking at the girl and she stood up at her place.
"Who is she Abhimanyu? I really like you. She won't be able to like you as much as I do."
"She likes him too. And that's a concrete reason to not accept your proposal. I am sorry but he is taken by someone else."
