Despite wanting nothing but to leave my bed the past few days, I couldn't get out this morning.

I groan, my head hurting, my leg hurting. There's a knock at my door, and I pull my blanket over my face.

"Fuck off." I say, sharply.

"It's us."

Who the fuck's 'us'?

They open the door, and the whole of squad Levi, plus Hange, minus Levi flood in.
There's a massive bouquet of flowers, that they put into a vase for me, plus some fruit.

"We wanted to say get well soon." Sasha says, with a huge grin. "Levi's been hogging you, and we haven't had chance to say anything."

"Well. Thank you, everyone."

"Woah! That's one hell of a blade." Jean says, picking up my dagger, and running his finger across the flat edge. "You have to tell me where you got it."

"It's one of a kind, I think. But I don't know where, Levi bought it for me." I regret saying it as soon as it escapes my mouth.

Hange cocks her head and sits at the end of my bed.

"Did he now?!" She teases, with a huge grin.

"Did he now?!" Hange teases, her eyes glinting with mischief.

"Shut up," I mutter, trying to sound annoyed but failing to hide a smile.

"Wow, look at her blush!" Sasha laughs, her grin widening. "Bet you've been dreaming about him, huh?"

"Yeah, all those sleepless nights thinking about Captain Perfect," Jean adds, smirking. "Must be nice to have a personal bodyguard like Levi. I'd love to see him swoop in and save me!"

"From what? A titan? Or from having to talk to a girl?" Connie chimes in, snickering at his own joke.

"Hey! I'm perfectly capable of handling myself!" I retort, crossing my arms defensively, though I can't help but feel flustered.

"Sure, but we all know Levi would never let you go," Hange says, winking. "You're practically his pet project now."

"Or his little doll," Jean adds, feigning a pout. "Just sit there and look pretty while he does all the heavy lifting."

"Exactly! And don't forget, you have that shiny new knife to protect you," Connie says, poking fun. "How could anyone resist that? Must be love."

I roll my eyes, trying to keep my composure, but the warmth creeping into my cheeks is undeniable. "You guys are ridiculous. He just thought I needed a good weapon."

"Good weapon for what? Cutting through all that tension between you two?" Jean shoots back, laughing.

"Freyja," Hange says with a grin, "you have to admit, it's kind of sweet that he's looking out for you."

I try to deny it, but I can't help the smile that spreads across my face. "Yeah, well... it's not like he's doing it out of the goodness of his heart."

"Come on! Everyone knows he's softening up! He's practically a marshmallow," Sasha teases, and the others nod in agreement.

"Yeah, we've all seen how he is with you," Connie adds, laughing. "Just admit it-you've got him wrapped around your finger!"

"Yeah, right! As if he would ever-" I start, but the laughter from the squad interrupts me.

"Just wait until he shows up!" Hange says, eyes sparkling. "He'll be all grumpy and then he'll see you, and-"

The door suddenly swings open, and Levi steps in, arms crossed, a scowl on his face.
