TWs: Memory loss, expecting the worst, brief arguing, brief crying. Stay safe :)

Neptune raised an eyebrow upon noticing how abnormally still the atmosphere had gotten. He looked around, noticing the smaller planets a few units away, "I haven't seen you planets before... are you guys new?"

"Nep- Poseidon, can you please go over there, bud? I need to talk to the others for a moment." Jupiter gestured to a spot near the asteroid belt.

The blue Celestial blinked, seeming shocked, "'Please'? Haha, I didn't think you knew the word, Zeus!"

Jupiter cringed at the name, moving to the side to let Neptune pass him.

"What are we going to do?" Saturn knitted his eyebrows, biting his lip as he watched Neptune play with a few asteroids, "Oh, our dear Neptune, he really doesn't remember anything..."

"Well, we need to figure out what he does remember." Nine spoke, hands balled into fists as he glared into the void below.

"M-Maybe... ah, I can gather his moons! See if they can trigger some memories..." Uranus trailed off, wiping at his eyes as he felt icy tears gather in them.

Saturn rested a hand on the cold one's shoulder, "Are you okay to go by yourself, Uranus?"

"Mmh... yeah, I'll be fine, mate." Uranus shrugged the hand off, "I just... need to be alone for a bit."

Uranus swiftly left after he said that, ignoring the confused glance that Neptune gave him as he entered the asteroid belt.

Jupiter sighed, "I suppose I'll go inform the Sun what happened..."

"Allow me to go with you." Nine spoke.

Jupiter's brows twitched, "Uh- what? Why?"

"Because," Nine squinted, speaking in a lower tone as he shifted toward the bigger one, "He's my brother, and it's on me if he gets hurt."

Nine flew away, heading to the Sun. Words replayed in Jupiter's head as he watched the white Celestial.

"He looked up to you, Jupiter, and what did he get? Isolation for billions of years!"

Jupiter frowned, shaking his head.

"Jupi...?" Saturn spoke, snapping the bigger one out of his thoughts, "What if we don't get Neptune's memories back? What if he'll forget everything; us, his moons, the fun little adventures we've had...? Everything..."

Jupiter raised a hand to Saturn's cheek, wiping away stray tears, "We'll get Neptune's memories back. We'll get through this, I promise."

"You can't keep a promise like that, Jupiter..." Saturn sniffled, voice cracking.

Jupiter pursed his lips, nodding, "I know, but for now... we just have to keep moving forward."

...

Everyone was acting weird, that was a fact. No one could look Poseidon in the eye. The only normal thing was that Ouranos ignored him, but since when did the others care so much?

He glanced toward Zeus and Cronus, who seemed closer than when he saw them last. It almost looked like they were more than reluctant 'friends.' They had hated each other, so what changed?

A sudden pain struck his head, causing him to wince and raise a hand to soothe it, "Agh, ow..."

Once the pain subsided, Poseidon spotted a shimmering light emitting from an entity. He hummed, shifting closer to the object. He noted its eight points, pale blue color, and a small fracture in the middle. Slowly, he reached out to touch it...
