"Are you sure you're okay, mate?" Uranus asked his cousin as they got to his orbit.
"I'm fine, Uranus!" Neptune smiled, "I've never felt better actually!"
"Even so, you should still be careful." Nine spoke, "Sagittarius could strike at any moment."
"I still don't know what a Sagittarius is..." Neptune frowned, raising a hand to his chin.
"That's because it may have manipulated your memories." Nine explained, "Do you know how your amnesia works, Neptune?"
"Well, usually, I prioritize them by importance; take my moons, for example." Neptune gestured to the smaller objects. I only remember their names because they're important to me—they'll always come before anything else."
"And me?" Nine prompted, "When you found me in the Kuiper Belt, you had no idea who I was."
"You also had no idea who Jupiter was that one time." Uranus pointed out.
Neptune frowned, averting his gaze, "Uh... those are more personal."
"What do you mean?"
"I chose to forget them," Neptune replied, shrugging.
Nine winced, a sharp sting jamming into his core at the words, 'Ouch... guess I deserve that.'
"Okay, but if you see anything out of the ordinary, you'll come straight to one of us, right?" Uranus placed his hands on the other's shoulders.
"Of course!" Neptune nodded, "I promise, Uranus, you have nothing to worry about. Besides, I have Messier to keep me safe!"
"That makes me wonder what happened to our NovaStars..." Nine uttered.
"I'm sure they're around here somewhere, they couldn't have gotten too far." Uranus pulled Neptune closer, wrapping his arms around him.
Neptune grinned, returning the hug, "You guys are really feeling huggy lately! Not that I don't like it- it's just not like you two at all."
"We're just worried, is all." Uranus' voice came out muffled as he pressed further into Neptune's sweater.
Neptune simpered, "I know, but you don't have anything to worry about."
"We have everything to worry about, mate!" Uranus pulled away, brows furrowed as he lightly glared at the other, "You don't even remember who we're fighting against!"
Neptune hummed, raising a hand to his head, "Yeah, it's still all fuzzy for me... I'm sorry."
"You have nothing to apologize for, Neptune." Nine piped up, "It's all Sagittarius A*'s fault that your memories are missing."
"I know... I just wish I could help." Neptune frowned, averting his gaze toward the endless void below.
"You can help us by recovering." Uranus spoke, "Maybe you'll be able to remember the things you're missing."
"I hope so... my head has never been in more pain trying to think." Neptune winced, his head pounding like a supernova explosion.
"Try not to hurt yourself." Nine told him, nudging the other one's shoulder.
"It's kinda hard not to..." Neptune chuckled.
Uranus peered at him, concern filling his gaze, "Promise you'll say something if you notice something out of the ordinary?"
Neptune looked the other in the eyes, nodding curtly with a sense of reassurance, "I promise, Uranus."
"Okay... I'll go ahead and tell the others about your condition." Uranus pulled away from the others, hesitating to leave his close friend who considered him family. He glanced back at Neptune, "I... love you, Neptune."
