After explaining why Paul was there and making sure Embry hadn't seen or heard anything he shouldn't. We went back to bed. Embry did end up using his bike to take me to school because we woke up late. Bella was the same all day and questioned why I wasn't home again. During lunch I went to the nurse to get some Tylenol for my headache. Mr. Melina still looked at me strangely, but I don't know what his deal is.

Paul surprised me at the end of the day and walked with me to the gallery. Miss Ruby pinched his cheeks for a good 10 minutes and told him not to be a stranger. I ran the teen art class that Mrs. Longspear offered and got to finish my drawing.

After, I finished the class Miss Ruby, and I had a break where she gave me chamomile tea because she saw me rubbing my temples. Embry picked me up and we went to his place. We watched Terminator 3 then Jacob and Quill showed up. We ordered pizza and played games for a while. Jacob was constantly asking about Bella and talking about her. I answered him for a while but after a few hours it got frustrating. Embry finally told Jake to get over it and talk about something else. Jacob and Quil eventually left so Embry, and I finished Matrix 2 and watched the third.

Paul came over in the morning to give me a ride to school. Bella was by my side the moment I got out of Paul's truck. She was still complaining about how Edward Cullen was rude, and how it was strange he wasn't here. I tried to tell her that he probably got sick, like how Angela got the flu and was out for an entire week. She didn't let it go though.
I didn't have work, so I went straight to Paul's. I asked my dad if I could stay the next few days at Leah's and he said okay. I told him I'd come home Monday after school, dad just said whenever is fine. I know Monday is a few days away, today only being Wednesday, but I knew I wouldn't be home. I leaned my head on Paul's shoulder as he drove and closed my eyes.

Paul's voice made me open my eyes, "Are you okay?"

Paul turned his truck off since we were at his place.

I nodded slowly as I said, "I guess, just tired." I sighed, "I think I'm getting sick. I just feel, weak."

"Maybe we could ask Embry's mom to look at you or take you to the hospital." Paul offered.

I shook my head as I said, "No, I'm fine. I just need to get some sleep. Embry's couch isn't very comfortable."

Paul sighed and said, "Okay, but you're gonna have real food, not pizza. And maybe you should stay out of school tomorrow, just to rest."

"I'll think about it." I said, the idea of not listening to Bella for a day feeling good, "Pizza is real food. Besides, you can't cook."

Paul rolled his eyes as he replied, "Whatever. I'll get Emily to make you some soup."

"Don't bother her. I can cook." I said, as Paul opened the truck door.

Paul looks back at me and said, "No, you won't. You're sick. Just let me take care of you."
