Someone was crying, a baby. A woman was holding the baby to tight. I looked up at the woman's face and realized I was the baby. I was scared and cried harder. I saw fear on the womans face, tears fell from her brown eyes. She was backing away from something. I tried to look but the woman kept a firm grasp on me, forcing my head to stay against her.
"Please, don't do this." The woman begged.
"You owe me a debt and I've come to collect." A woman's voice spoke, cold and harsh.
The woman holding me snarled, "I owe you nothing."
Then the woman holding me threw out her hand, there was a gasp of pain, and the woman put me down. Quickly, she put me against a brick wall and her hands went to my face, cupping my tear-filled cheeks.
"I love you, my sweet girl. Never forget who you are." The woman begged.
The woman kissed my forehead, then her face changed from on filled with fear into determination. I watched as she stood in front of me protectively. From where I sat behind her legs, I could see a dark-haired woman and two young men. The men stood over the dark- haired woman as she writhed in pain on the ground. One of the men growled and launched himself at the woman who had put me down. He was so quick I barely saw it. The woman lifted her hand, and the man went flying back into the wall. Cracks appeared in his skin like a porcelain doll as he fell to the ground. The other man appeared in front of the woman, before he immediately began writhing and screaming in pain. I saw the other man get up and I cried in warning. The woman held up her arm again and the man froze. It was over.
The dark-haired woman suddenly appeared behind the other. The dark-haired woman seemed to bite into the other woman then she jerked back, and a dark red liquid shot onto the men and the opposite wall. I screamed as the woman fell to the ground, her blonde hair-stained red. I was crying and screaming, clutching my ellie to me, I had enough understanding to know something horrible just happened.
The dark- haired woman turned and faced me. I hugged my ellie closer as I cried harder. I was terrified. The woman's face was covered in blood, her mouth twisted into a cruel smile. I looked into her eyes to see them as red as blood covering her cruel face.
"Chris!"
I gasped awake to see Paul's concerned face above me. It was a dream, just a dream. But it felt so real.
"Chris, are you alright? You were crying in your sleep." Paul asked, his thumb wiping away the tears on my cheek.
I nod as I reply, "I'm okay, it was just a nightmare."
Paul leaned back and pulled me onto his chest before asking, "The same one?"
I sighed as I laid my head against his chest, saying, "Yeah, except it was different this time."
Paul began stroking my bare back as he asked, "How so?"
I began, whispering, "I saw who killed the woman. It didn't just end once the woman put me down. After she did, she fought the two men. Only she didn't fight like a normal person she sent them flying with a wave of her hand and made them scream in pain just by looking at them. I thought she had won but then the woman that always says the thing about owing a debt came out of nowhere and killed the blonde woman. She just, ripped out her throat. Then she turned to me, and I saw that she had red eyes."
I felt Paul tense at the mention of red eyes and knew why. Paul had told me how vampires normally had red eyes. I've never seen any other vampires besides the Cullens who have gold or sometimes black eyes.
