The boys were heading to the garden for some tea when they stopped in their tracks, spotting Izuku sitting on a bench, illuminated by the soft glow of the garden lights.

She was nibbling on a skewer of candied fruits, her cheeks puffed up cutely as she enjoyed her snack. What made the sight even more amusing was that she was talking to a small bird perched on the bench beside her.

(Izuku speaking softly to the bird): "See? It’s really tasty, but I guess you can’t eat it... Maybe I’ll bring you some seeds next time."

The boys stifled their laughter as they crouched behind a row of hedges, trying to stay out of sight.

They exchanged grins, amused by the way Izuku was casually chatting with the bird as if it was a person.

(Denki whispering, grinning): "Look at her... she's so cute, talking to a bird like that!"

(Kirishima snickering): "She's got a whole conversation going. Think she'll invite the bird to share the snack next?"

Bakugo, who was watching silently, found himself involuntarily smiling at how innocent and genuine she seemed in that moment, even though he tried to hide it. Rody nudged him, catching the slight smirk.

(Rody teasing): "Caught you smiling, Bakugo. I knew you couldn’t resist."

(Bakugo scowling, his cheeks faintly pink): "Shut up, I wasn’t smiling! Just... who talks to a bird like that, anyway?"

Todoroki watched with a small, amused smile, observing Izuku’s pure-hearted nature as she continued her one-sided conversation.

(Todoroki whispering): "She's different... in a good way."

As the boys continued to watch, their laughter softened. It wasn’t just that they found Izuku adorable—it was that moments like this made them appreciate her even more. She had a way of brightening the atmosphere without even realizing it.

The boys leaned in closer, listening intently as Izuku continued chatting with the little bird. She took another bite of the tanghulu, chewing thoughtfully before speaking again.

(Izuku murmuring to the bird): "You know, these boys can be a real handful. They’re always arguing and competing over the silliest things. Like today at the pool... I thought for sure Bakugo was going to lose his temper with that girl, Camie."

The boys exchanged curious glances, wondering what else she was going to say about them.

(Izuku still talking, unaware of her audience): "But they’re not all bad. Guilio was kind enough to drive me to the store today, and Rody helped save me the other night when that creepy old man wouldn’t leave me alone. Still, they can be... exhausting. It’s like they’re always trying to one-up each other, and it feels like I’m caught in the middle sometimes."

Kirishima raised an eyebrow, nudging Denki with his elbow as they listened.

(Denki whispering, smirking): "Looks like we’re getting a report card."

(Todoroki quietly): "She’s just being honest. I guess it’s a good thing she’s not just flattering us."

Bakugo crossed his arms, a faint scowl on his face, though he couldn't deny he was curious about what else she might say.
