Bakugo and the boys arrived at the Yagi mansion once again to visit Izuku and Kazui. Kazui was thrilled to see his dad and uncles, running around excitedly.

"Daddy! Uncle Denki! Uncle Kiri!" (he shouted as they entered the house, eagerly pulling them outside to play).

The boys quickly got into their usual groove with Kazui—playing games, chasing each other around the yard, and tossing a ball back and forth.

Denki even goofed around with Kazui, pretending to lose a game, making the little boy giggle uncontrollably.

But amidst the laughter and fun, Kirishima and Todoroki noticed something off. Every time Bakugo and Izuku were even remotely near each other, the tension was obvious. Izuku would shy away, her expression stiffening, while Bakugo kept stealing glances at her, looking frustrated.

As they took a break, sitting on the patio while Kazui played on the swing set, Kirishima couldn’t hold back any longer

"Dude, you and Izuku... what's going on?" (he asked Bakugo, his voice low so Kazui wouldn’t hear.)

(Bakugo scowled, but the tension in his face showed he knew what Kirishima was talking about.): "It's... nothing. We’re just still figuring things out."

(Denki raised an eyebrow, leaning back in his chair.) "Figuring things out? You’re barely even talking to each other, man. It’s awkward."
.

(Todoroki, always the quiet observer, added,): "Kazui notices more than you think. You both need to be on the same page for his sake."

Bakugo sighed heavily, running a hand through his hair. He knew they were right.

The awkwardness between him and Izuku had only gotten worse, especially after Kazui called him “daddy” at his birthday party. It felt like they were standing on the edge of something, but neither of them was willing to take that step forward.

(Kirishima leaned forward, his voice more serious now.): "You’ve got a chance to make things right, man. I get that it’s complicated, but Kazui deserves to see his parents together—not just as co-parents, but as a team. You can’t keep avoiding each other."

(Bakugo clenched his fists, frustration clear in his eyes.): "I know, okay? I just... I messed things up. I don’t know how to fix it."

(Denki patted his shoulder, offering a grin.): "Well, step one is to stop being a scaredy-cat and talk to her. She’s probably feeling the same way."

"Yeah, go talk to her," (Kirishima encouraged.): "We’ll keep Kazui busy while you sort things out."

Bakugo hesitated, looking over at Izuku, who was standing by the window inside, watching Kazui play. She looked so distant, so unreachable, and yet... there was still a part of her that he recognized—the Izuku he fell in love with, the one who always fought for what she believed in.

"Fine," (Bakugo muttered, standing up.): "But if it goes south, it’s on you guys."

He shot them a glare, but his friends just grinned and gave him thumbs-up as he made his way toward Izuku.
