He looked so.....different,

(A good different)

His features were more defined now. His hair was just a bit darker of a brown than last time I saw him, his green eyes were more vibrant and even more beautiful than before, but what really stood out most was.....that look, he looked so unhappy, so sad, so....angry,

And it was all my fault. The moment I saw that look in his mesmerizing eyes, I knew I had been the one to cause that pain.

A lump formed in my throat, I was trying to push back the tears fighting to come out,

(This was all my fault)

I had planned out every word I wanted to say, even made a speech, but at that moment, it was as if I'd lost my voice,

"H-hey callum" is all I could manage,

"Callum i-

Before I could finish, he began running towards me. And my mind was now racing faster than he could run, I thought of every possibility I had come up with a week before I decided I was gonna go back,

He could scream at me

Tell me not to return

Walk away and never talk to me again

Say he hates me

Possibly try to kill me.....or

The worst possible outcome, he would have a new love and have already moved on,

My train of thought was broken by callum hugging me?

(Is this another dream?)

I pinch myself just to make sure this was real, and the relief brought fulfillment to my heart,

Just as I began to hug him back, he let go, looking up at me with glassy eyes, and oh, how much it hurt,

"Callum i-im sorry, I know how much you probably hate me,

and you probably won't forgive me, but-

"What!, rayla....

He grabs my hands in his and looked  straight at me, and I see something else, not anger or sadness, but....love, something I didn't think I'd ever get  from him again,

"Rayla, please, come home?"

"I....

"Look, I know you want to find a viren,

but you don't have to because I already took care of that....for you, so please rayla,

Come home, for me?"

My heart sank to the bottom of my chest. 

I thought I was protecting him by leaving when really it just hurt us both

At that moment I new how much damage I had really done, how reckless was he while I was gone?, did he get hurt?,

"Oh callum," I lift my hand to his cheek, letting  the tears that have been building up for so long finally fall,

" I'm coming back, callum."

He almost looked surprised, and for a Meer second disbelieve flashed on his face, but soon morphed into sheer happiness,

He looked at me for a second longer before pulling me to him as he kissed me,

K-KISSED ME!

Before I could register what had just happened, he pulled away, ( much to my displeasure)

"I- I'm sorry, I should have asked..

You know if you still wanted to..

Uh, well, you know..

Be a thing, still or not, uhh..

Be cause you've been gone for so long and...

You could have already found someone new...

He rubbed the back of his neck looking straight at his feet, which caused me to roll my eyes

This entire time I was so scared he had found a new love and apparently he was just as scared,

"Dumb human," I said in a playfull tone,

"Wha-

I didn't even let him finish before pulling him into a passionate kiss to which we both melted into,

Because in the end, he truly was all mine.
