And now that the first light of dawn creased the horizon of Aranya, the village was a different place—changed. Shadows that glided vast within were no longer there but were displaced by warm life that seemed to breathe from every pocket. Air was filled with laughter and chatter, and everyone was celebrating our shared victory.

From the side of the plaza, I watched as villagers embraced one another, relief and joyful tears mingling on their cheeks. It was a beautiful sight, a testament to the strength we had found in each other. Tomas approached me, a grin spreading across his face.

"We really did it, Lira! Look at them!" he said, gesturing towards the crowd. "It's incredible to see everyone so united."

Yeah, it is," I said with my heart swelling at pride. "I never thought we could come together like this, especially after everything we have lived through."

Ines came up behind her sister, casting a look that was both warm and sparkling. "You all showed tremendous courage today. The bond you've created is what truly drove away the darkness. Never underestimate the power of unity.

As they emerged from the sea of people, it was Isla and Rafael, their countenance radiating light. "We have so much to celebrate!" cried Isla, embracing me with arms wide open. "Let's have a feast for everyone!"
"And we must not forget stories! We can share all that we learned from our adventures," said Rafael.

Great idea!" Tomas exclaimed, his excitement contagious. "It will be a time when everyone around will be trying to understand what has been and what has to be."

The more we talk about the feast, the more I feel myself churning with anticipation. It is more than a celebration; it is an attempt to honor the efforts that led to their freedom, the new bonds of relationship that have now been forged.

"Let's meet up later to finalize the plans," I suggested. "I'll go scrounge up what we need, and we can split up the tasks."
"Sounds good!" Isla enthused, her eyes glinting with excitement. "I'll take care of decorations. We need it to feel festive!"

As we dispersed in getting ready for the fun, I started strolling around the village, taking it all in, including a common market with vendors putting up their stalls and colorful fruits and handiworks, full of children's playful laughter.

I passed in front of a familiar stand, where an elderly woman was arranging her bright fabrics. "Ah, Lira! You're very well-looking," she saluted me warmly. "I heard you managed to defeat the darkness. You've brought hope to our village again."
"Thanks, Tita Amara," I smiled back at her with gratitude. "It wasn't just me, anyway. It was all of us together.".

She nodded. "Yes, but your bravery was the spring. You have a gift for unifying people."
I felt my face grow warm with embarrassment, being humbled by her words. "I just did what I had to do.".

As I walked, I passed familiar faces: friends and neighbors among the tapestry woven together. It was then that I realized it was in the fight against darkness that it came to unite and form a community held together by common experiences.

Somehow, I managed to reach our meeting point. Tomas, Isla, and Rafael were already there, vibrating with energy.

"Lira! Look at these!" Isla exclaimed, holding up colorful lanterns. "We can hang them around the plaza for the feast. They'll add a magical touch!"

The lanterns seemed bright and colorful. Immediately, I really felt the excitement building up. "They're perfect! Let's also prepare some of our favorite dishes to share. Everyone can contribute."

Oh, I'll cook my famous stew! Everybody loves it, and it's sure to be a hit,\" Rafael said, his eye twinkling mischievously.

"That's great!" I exclaimed. "I will bring fruits and pastries." Ideas are already flooding my mind. "We should also have music. That will make the celebration more lively."

Tomas interrupted me, "I can invite some of the musicians to join us. They have been waiting for a reason to celebrate.".

After having set our tasks, each one of us went on his own way; enthusiasm drove me across the village. I went to the market and came back with some fruits, pastries, and other preparations for this all grand feast. Everyone's interaction seemed to be loaded with warmth, and I felt a hope of growing somewhere, of belonging somewhere.

Returning, I saw children rehearsing for a dance. They spun and laughed, innocence incandescent in them, reminding me of what we fought for. I couldn't help but grin at innocent laughter; a feeling of responsibility came upon my shoulder.

Once back at our meeting point, we all geared up. The plaza evolved into an excellent place full of decorations, food, and laughter. The villagers joined in as well, with their many contributions to the celebration.
As the sun set over the horizon, casting a golden glow over the plaza, we gathered all people for the feast. Ines took center stage, holding immense authority.

She began, her voice full of emotion, "Thank you all for coming tonight. We stand not just as a community but as a family." Today, we celebrate not just our victory over the darkness, but also the love and unity that brought us here.

Cheers uplifted among the people, and I felt a wave of pride in my chest. This was what we fought for: belongingness, renewed hopes.

And again at the end of all speeches, music filled the air. The festivity was now to start. Families laughed over anecdotal stories, rising to perform their dance steps with each other. Here, I could see Tomas and Isla pull in Rafael into a dance with them; their energy was a gift that I shouldn't deny, and so I let myself go, spinning and laughing along with them.

And when night came, we sat as a group around the large fire set up by the villagers where they narrate tales of great bravery and hope. Every story seemed to run into another, creating a tapestry rich with our collective stories.

I noticed Ines sitting there in the darkness looking at something in the distance. I was concerned. "Ines, can you hear me?

She lifted her head and smiled weakly. "I am well, sweet one," she said gently. "Just thinking of how far we've come. Sometimes it feels like a moment to recall that the strength is in ourselves."

I sat down by her, feeling the heat from the fire. "I thank you for your guidance," I said. "You are such a guiding light on this journey."

And you've become a beacon of hope for so many. It is not just the battles we fight, but the bonds we create along the way that define our legacy," Ines reminded me as she rested a reassuring hand on my shoulder.

And although this happens many years ago, she still speaks very profoundly to me. It's like the party was an affirmation of our strength and unity, knowing that my journey was far from over. And even with the kingdom facing a challenge or two, there was nothing that could stand in our way because of what we had created with our bonds.

With stars twinkling above me, I felt that sense of gratitude that community had brought us together, and out of that unity, we found our strength. The road ahead was full of trials, but we would stand united to meet them, the hearts a brandished defiance of hope.

As dusk wore off, I looked around the faces lit by flames from the fire: at friends and family and fellow villagers. And for this moment, I fought, and regardless of what may come next, we stood before it as one unit. The mutterings of yesterday gave way to promises of tomorrow, and I was prepared for whatever came next.
