Chapter 7: More Questions and a Legendary Secret

Hello everyone! FiresongTheScorbunny here! OH MY STARCLAN! IT'S BEEN TWO MONTHS since the last update. I am soooo soooory! Please forgive me! I just got distracted reading other story's and other random stuff like that! I'm such a goofball sometimes lol! Bur enough about me, let's get onto the story. I hope you enjoy reading this chapter. Now, without further ado, let's take flight.

After Ashly had spoken those words, it was silent for several seconds. No one spoke, no one moved, and even the Pokémon seemed to be holding their breath in anticipation.

And after what felt like 3 sunrises of waiting, Goh finally spoke up to break the tension. "You what?!" He exclaimed in shock. Ashly and Koharu glanced to one another with nervous looks on there faces.

"Did you know about this, Koharu?"

The maroon-haired girl sighed softly and nodded her head, staring down at her feet. "Yes, yes I did." She told him truthfully. "The reason I didn't tell you was because Ashly told me not to."

Goh then turned his attention to the raven-haired girl, who at the moment looked exactly like Koharu except for the eye and hair color. "So... why did you keep this a secret anyways?" He eventually asked. Ashly sighed and tugged nervously at her braid. "Well you see..." Ashly began while staring down at her feet. "That's not the only secret I have," she confessed, turning her head and looking over at Pikachu as she spoke.

"Wait, what?"

The raven-haired girl reached up and unclasped a necklace from around her neck. Once the charm was removed, a bright flash of light blinded the group and when it dimmed down, Ashly was gone. In her place was a floating blue cat with dark purple stripes on its back and sky-blue eyes.

"Before you say anything," meowed a voice in there minds, "I don't want to be caught, so please don't even try."

Goh's mouth dropped open in shock. "Y-You're a Mew?!" He spluttered out, still shocked about the floating teal-and-dark-blue cat-like Pokémon in front of him. "You look like a gaping fish," the DNA Pokémon giggled at her friends shocked expression.

"B-But you're a mew!" He said again, still trying to process what in the name of StarClan had just happened. "If you don't close your mouth a fly might get in there," Ashly said from her perch on Koharu's head. The girl gently petting her head while at the same time trying not to laugh at her friends expression.

Dawn was the next to speak, being the only one who knew of both of Ashly's secrets, she was the only one not gaping in shock like a fish. "So... can I pleeeeeese use you in my next contest?" The little flying cat giggled and her eyed gleamed with mischief as she stared at Dawn, Zoey, and Koharu. "Yes, yes you can." She meowed, twitching her tail back-and-forth.

"Let's have a battle, if I may, Lady Mew." Ashly turned around to see Raboot staring at her with a fiery look in her eyes. She rolled her eyes with an exasperated sigh. "Oh now you wanna have a battle? Seriously? What's so special about me?" She meowed, twitching her tail in annoyance while crossing her little arms and glaring at the rabbit-like Pokémon.

"What does Raboot want with you?" Goh asked her with a raised eyebrow. Ashly sighed softly and shook her head. "She wants a battle with me," she said bluntly. "She what?!" Goh exclaimed, his eyes going wide as he looked from his partner to his-female-human-turned-Pokémon friend. Ashly scowled and gave a long drawn-out sigh.

"Doesn't Raboot know that you can very easily kick her butt?"

Ashly giggled and shrugged in response. "I think she does know that, but she most likely doesn't care."

"Wait, what does Raboot want to do?" Koharu inquired with a tilt of her head. Ashly sighed and tugged at her tail. "She wants to battle me," the shiny Mew replied bluntly with a roll of her eyes. Koharu choked back a bout of giggles at both the look on her friends face and at what Raboot was gonna get herself into. "Oh boy." She said. "This should be interesting."

Dawn and Zoey both nodded in agreement. "If this doesn't give Raboot a wake-up call then I don't know what will." Koharu nodded as she watched the two Pokémon get in a battle-ready stance. "Good luck to both of you!" Dawn cried out as they charged an Aura Sphere and Ember respectively, the 2 attacks collided in a huge explosion of red and blue balls of energy.
