"Change of fucking plans! Just watched Mirio get taken to another portal!" Katsuki announced. "Crap- whatever that's fine! Let's keep this guy busy as we wait for Mirio to come!" Said Mirko.

"You're awake." A woman spoke as she watched Izuku sit up, no longer chained up. Yet his body felt sore and tired.

Izuku realized he was alive.

His body was bandaged up.

But his body looked thin and pale.

"You lost a lot of blood, be glad you're still alive" Izuku huffed, he wished he wasn't. "Why-..why am I still here?" He asked. "War is going on right now" she responded. "You might be needed if something was to not go to plan." Izuku didn't say anything but stood silent.

"So I heard you were dating a girl" Izuku nodded "Ochako Uraraka?" Izuku nodded once again "she's currently fighting against Toga" Izuku laid back down to rest the aching from his body. "Shigaraki told me you didn't react much when mentioning her"

"..there's nothing I can do." Izuku said silently. "You have a relationship with Katsuki Bakugo?" Izuku tensed before relaxing his body, "I guess you can say that..friends? Well who knows, he avoided me for a whole month."

"Why is that?"

"I don't know. But nothing I'm not used to, he's always been that way towards me."

The woman hummed "you say that very sad, do you have a stronger feeling towards him?" Izuku shook his head. "I thought I did but I realize I'm just attractive to him..like I find him cute, hot but I don't see myself dating him"

"Have you tried testing out that theory?" Izuku gave a nod "I..well we kissed multiple times. It felt nice..good. I miss him." Izuku shut his eyes.

He opened them again to see a white room.

The woman was a doctor who had entered Izukus mind to try to wake him up.

"Now you're awake." She said with a sly laugh "Oh- OH" Izuku sat up and looked around "I'm- I'm..I'm in the hospital.?" He felt a bit sense of relief. "How.. where did you guys find me?" He asked.

"Relax..don't want to open up the stitches." Izuku couldn't believe it. "You were unconscious..we found you in a dumpster." Izukus body tensed up "dumpster?" The doctor nodded holding his hand.

"We assumed you were thrown out after the people who had you assumed you were dead..you were out cold. We didn't know if you were going to wake up"  Izuku gulped.

"Fuck I think he's dead!"

"Dead?"

"Look!"

Izuku felt his body being thrown across the room.

"Oh shit! Just throw him out somewhere!"

"Dead..I'm alive." The tears swelled up in his eyes. "Luckily. You were in really bad shape-" the door shot up. It was his mother.

"Oh my- Izuku it's really you!" Inko rushed to him "its you- not some fake.!" Izuku smiled "Mom- I missed you so much" Izuku would like to hug the woman but his body ached so much.

"What did they do to you- my poor baby.!" The woman cried. Izuku frowned "I'm okay..I'm okay now." Inko wiped her tears "yea..you're okay now."

"..well Mrs.Midoriya, would you now like to talk about the injuries and medicines that your son will need to take? Of course now that he's awake."  Inko nodded "yes, please"

"Okay, well your son this have minor injuries like bruises..small cuts, but he does have stitches..a lot. As your sun was sliced up what seems like a knife or..a machete, his ankles and wrists are also bruised and cut due to whatever he was restrained with." The lady paused seeing the distress in Inkos face.

"Machete-? Restrained..? You're joking." The doctor coughed shaking her head "it's a miracle your son is here ma'am.." she said trying to make the situation better. "I-Izuku is that all they did to you- please tell me they didn't do much else?"

"..he will have to do a report soon actually since he was missing, and they need information how he got these injuries." She then added. "Would you like for me to continue?"

"Yes..yes I think I'm ready." Inko was in fact not. All of this became overwhelming. "Izukus body was found in a dumpster, which lead to insects crawling into his open wounds..he does have to take medicine as we did procedures to try get as many as we could out, this medicine will help burn any bugs or parasites that are still inside roaming." Izukus eyes widened "You're saying there could be bugs still in me??"

"We aren't too sure. And we did have to go under a head injure as ...you see his head is bandaged up. His skull had cracked just a bit but his brain is fine." Izuku watched his mother tremble "I-Is that all..?"

"..I can tell you the rest later." Inko nodded taking a seat.

That was probably for the best.

Izuku looked up at the TV.

His eyes widening as he watched the heroes and

Katsuki

They were on TV.

Fighting against Shigaraki.

But something was wrong.

'Mirio isn't there.'
