Everyone rolled their eyes at this. Again? They all thought. "Islanders, as a group you can save one couple that you think is the most compatible."
"C'est des conneries," Maia shook her head. "This is a stupid vote."
"Please get together and decide which couple you are going to save. The entire chat was more about how fucked it all was and Maia couldn't help but shed a tear. She knew Rob was going home, and whether they were friends right now or not, it hurt that this is how they would say goodbye.
"Oh, Maia." Serena looked up and saw her. Maia smiled with a shake of her head and Miguel wrapped his arms around her waist. "Which couple do you think is the most compatible and why?" Maura asked when they had broken apart.
Miguel stood up squeezing Maia's hand. "This decision is extremely hard because, I think speaking for everyone here, we've really gotten to love every single one of you. The friendship, honestly, is gonna last a lifetime. However, these two, I really do think, share the strongest bond. Through everything that's happened here, no matter how much they cried together, no matter how much they argued, they still always came back to each other. So the couple we decided to save is,.... Kaylor and Aaron."
Maia watched tapping some of the tears that had escapade her eyes. "Well that means, Kaylor and Aaron, you are safe. Please take a seat." Maura told them.
"Sieera and Harrison, Daniella and Rob, you are still vulnerable and at risk." Maura told them. "But," She added and everyone looked at her confused. "There is one final lifeline," everyone somehow got even more confused. "And, Kassy... you're the lifeline." Maia's jaw dropped, "Oh, Mon. Dieu."
Maia listened as Maura told Kassy she could save Harrison or Rob by coupling up with one of them. "Kassy, which boy do you want to couple up with and why?"
She stood up looking at them, "I want to couple up with this boy because...he's a really sweet guy inside and out. And I feel like our time has been cut short. I want to not only save him, but give us time to see if maybe there's a connection, maybe there's something we didn't realise last season. The boy I want to couple up with is... Rob."
Maia tucked her face into miguels shoulder. She didn't know whether to laugh or cry. She said goodbye to Harrison first as she knew she would see the girls in the dressing room. "You better win this for me." He hugged her. "I'll try." She laughed.

The morning was slow and PPG sat in soul ties having their morning chat. "We can tell you still care for Rob." Leah told Maia who sighed. "Like look at yesterday, you were upset at the thought he was leaving." JaNa added in.
"Look, I care for Rob that has never changed. But that ship has sailed and sunk to the bottom of the ocean and rotted. It will never come back. I am so unbelievably enamoured by Miguel, he is my yacht. I love you guys, and everyone in here, but if I hear someone else say 'oh Maia this, Rob that' I will blow up."
