October 28th, 2023, 11:25PM. Abby and Owen had made their way to Adam's house, which sat dormant that Saturday. None of the lights were on, because hopefully, everyone in the house had gone to sleep for the night. "Abby, are you sure you still want to do this? You remember what happened last time.." Owen asked sheepishly. "We gotta teach him what for Owen, teach him not to mess with us, for good. Did you forget why we're pretending to be his friends in the first place?" Abby asked, her voice low. Owen shook his head. "No. I have not, but still, I have an odd feeling about this." Owen remarked. Abby halted in place, noticing the Ring Doorbell. "Let's go through the backyard and into his room through the window," Abby suggested. Owen nodded in agreement, following Abby through the blind spot, but he couldn't help but feel like they were being watched. That's because he was.
From the living room window, someone was watching and listening. "They didn't learn their lesson, it seems." A voice whispered. A green Crocodile was sitting down on the couch, his tail thumping rhythmically on it. His eyes were covered by his hat. "Those two cretins? Let me and the others take care of em. Been a long time since Chomper seen some action." The Croc replied. The first voice, a mess of wires wearing a clown mask turned to look at Chomper. "And tell me- what would you do to- fix our little problem?" Incomplete Ennard asked. Chomper chuckled. "You know what they say, In a while, Crocodile."
Owen quietly creaked open the gate to the backyard. They weren't there often, they usually were in Adam's house. There was a motorcycle under a tarp, stairs, and.. what's that? Owen stared at what looked like a Fox, or a toy Fox staring at them from behind the stairs. "Is that some kind of animal?" Owen asked, pointing to it. Abby looked in the direction Owen was pointing in. "I think so," Abby answered. "Is it Wishbone?" Owen asked, referencing Adam's old Dalmatian Mix. "No, Adam loves his dogs, I doubt he'd leave one outside," Abby remarked. As the two got closer, the thing quickly disappeared, almost into thin air. "What the...?" Abby thought. Owen turned and noticed something small watching them from the side of the house, once they noticed him, they slinked away, a sound reminiscent of an accordion playing as it did. "What?" Owen asked. "What is it?" Abby asked. "I think I saw another animal. But I'm not sure." Owen whispered. Abby winked at Owen, smirking. "Don't worry, his room is nearby, we just need to turn the corner, crawl in...and boom." As they turned the corner to the main backyard, they quickly spotted one of the two windows into Adam's bedroom. "Bingo," Owen whispered. Almost as if someone heard him, the window opened. Abby and Owen quickly went to the side of the house. A head poked out of the window. It looked like a crocodile. It turned its head to the left, then the right. It couldn't see them. It backed its head into the house and closed the window. "...Was THAT an animal?" Owen asked. Abby shook her head. "It's probably just Adam wearing some sort of mask." That's when they heard footsteps coming from the secondary entrance to the backyard. "Quick! Under the trampoline!" Abby ordered. The duo quickly dived under the trampoline as an animatronic walked out, followed by more heavier footsteps. They couldn't tell from where they were but one had exposed legs while the others looked dark and 3D printed. They couldn't tell but it was Blake the Badger and Ignited Foxy. "There's N-No one here." Ignited Foxy remarked. Blake's eyes turned yellow as he scanned the area, using his thermal sensors. The only thing he managed to scan were a few birds and squirrels. "Odd. I heard voices." Blake replied. "Jake and Ennard said that those two, Abby and Owen, were here. But for what?" Foxy asked. Blake shrugged. "Not sure, but after what they pulled last time, I doubt it's anything good. Come on, let's report back." But before they left, Blake paused, glancing back at the area one last time, as if sensing something was still off. Ignited Foxy nudged him, impatient to return inside, and after a moment's hesitation, Blake relented.
As the heavy footsteps faded, Abby let out a sigh of relief, nudging Owen to get ready to move again. "Okay, we need to get to that window now while we still can," she whispered urgently. Owen nodded, and the two crawled out from under the trampoline, moving quietly toward the side of the house. They stayed close to the wall, making their way back toward the window that they hoped led to Adam's room. When they reached it, Abby reached up and carefully tested the window, hoping it was unlocked.
