Hair Care Stylist said energetically, "Isabella, darling! Your hair is looking fabulous, but I can't work miracles if you keep jerking around like a puppet on strings!"
Isabella distracted, phone in hand "Huh? Oh, sorry! It's just this call is so important and—"
Hair Care Stylist replied laughing, "Important, schmimportant! Your hair is the real VIP here. Now, how about you put that phone on speaker so I can eavesdrop— I mean, so you can focus on staying still?"
Isabella giggling, "You're impossible! But fine, you win."
Hair Care Stylist raised an eyebrow triumphantly "That's more like it! Now, let's make you look like a goddess while you scheme world domination or whatever it is you do on these calls."
A few moments later, Natalie entered the room. Carefully carrying a breathtaking golden yellow dress. The gown seemed to capture sunlight itself, its fabric shimmering with every movement. It was a strapless design, hugging the body before flaring out dramatically at the hips. Intricate beadwork adorned the bodice, creating a dazzling constellation effect that catches the light. The skirt cascaded down in layers of gossamer-thin material, each tier subtly different in shade, creating a gradient effect from rich gold at the top to pale champagne at the hem.
Natalie gently placed the dress on a sleek, modern mannequin. The lack of arms on the display allowed the dress's elegant silhouette to take center stage, emphasizing its flowing lines and exquisite craftsmanship.
Natalie briefly approaching Isabella, "Miss, the dress and javelin are ready. The box has been sent."
Isabella nodding quickly, "Thanks, Natalie."
Before turned back to continue her makeup, her mind clearly preoccupied with other matters.
Isabella sit her phone on the desk and took a few steps back, placing her hands on her hips with a smile. As she turned , Jenny's voice came from the phone, saying, "Just like a princess."
Isabella blushed, then look at herself in the mirror. The golden yellow dress fitted her perfectly, hugging her curves before flowing out gracefully. The strapless bodice sparkled with intricate beadwork, and the layered skirt shimmers as it moves. She look radiant, the dress complementing her complexion beautifully.
She approaches the desk, picked up her phone, and continued chatting with Jenny.
Isabella said hopefully "I wish you were here."
"I'm so sorry. I want to, but I can't leave Dan sick like this." Jenny apologised.
Isabella nodded, then joked "I told you he's just pretending to be sick so you won't come and fall for some LA man."
Jenny shocked her head playfully "I love this Californian man of mine."
Isabella laughes at Jenny's grimaces.
"I sent you a gift, by the way." Jenny said.
Isabella yelled excited "I can't wait to open it!"
Suddenly, there's a knock at the door. It opened, and Isabella turned, initially angry at the interruption. However, she freeze when she saw Ethan standing there.
As Isabella's eyes met Ethan's, the world around them seemed to fade away. Her heart skipped a beat, then raced as if trying to escape her chest. For a moment, she stood frozen, drinking in the sight of him - his familiar stance, the warmth in his eyes, the slight curl of his lips forming a soft smile.
Then, as if a spell had been broken, Isabella surged forward. Her golden dress shimmered like sunlight on water as she moved, each step bringing her closer to the man she'd been longing for. Ethan opened his arms, ready to receive her, his own heart pounding in anticipation.
