Do they not notice one second I'm smiling then I'm frowning the next?
Do they not notice I'm talking with them then staring off into the distance?
Do they not notice I'm there then making an excuse to leave?

Maybe it's because I say I remember we have homework.
Maybe it's because I say I was remembering something similar.
Maybe it's because I say I had to get something important.

Maybe it's because I didn't tell them the real reason.

Do they not the bags under my eyes?
Do they not notice the cuts that I have?
Do they not notice my lost of appetite?

How do they not notice?

Maybe it's because I told them I was staying up reading a book when really I was getting torture by my thoughts.
Maybe it's because I told them it was my cat when really I did it to myself.
Maybe it's because I told them I already ate when really I'm starving myself.
