I said, 'I love you,' did you believe me?
You said, 'I love you,' and I believe it.
I gave you my heart did you take care of it?
You didn't give me your heart, did I do something wrong?
I promise to never leave you, do you remember?
You promised to stay forever, I remember.
I kissed and hug you, did you feel anything?
You didn't hug me back, what's wrong?I said, 'I love you,' did you believe me?
You said, 'I love you, and I believe it.
I saw you today, you smiled, that smile that I fell for, as if what happen didn't affect you, did you ever love me?
You asked how I feel, I smiled and said, 'fine,' you asked again, not believing me and I said the same thing, but you know better, don't you?I told you I love you and I still do, don't believe me?
You told me I love you long ago and I still think you do.
I saw you with your girlfriend today, you introduced us, I smiled, holding back the unshed tears, and said, 'I'm happy for you,' when really I'm not, you don't know that, do you?
You look so happy so I kept my mouth shut, you deserve to be happy, you also deserve someone better than me, I hope you know that. You talked to me and understood me.
I made a promise not to fall for you.
You became my best friend.
I start to slowly break that promise.
You were able to make me laugh and smile.
I broke that promise after that.
You asked me out.
I said yes.
You were corny and sweet.
I fell for you even more.
You left me, but we continue to be friends.
I cried.
You found someone new.
I cried more.
You look happy.
I forced a smile not wanting you to know that I hurting.
You know that something was wrong, so you asked.
I said nothing, you asked again and I reassured everything was so you left, but when you were gone I whispered, 'I fell for my best guy friend that's what wrong.'
