Rosé set the breakfast table with a smile on her face. Today was her day to prepare it. Lalisa entered the kitchen watching her friend who was whistling happily with the task she had been assigned.

— What happiness for those who woke up early — the Thai woman commented as she sat down and had a cup of coffee.

— I just wanted to get everything done so I could go to work right away — Rosé justified, sitting down too, helping herself to some coffee.

—I've never seen you so excited about a job before—Lisa noted.

— Ah, things are going well — Rosé admitted, still smiling.

She had been working at Kim Industries for a month now. And she never imagined that things would turn out so well for her. Her salary was good, she was able to help Lisa with the rent, and pay off the debts she had in her name. These were reasons enough to smile.

— I would also be super happy if I worked for two hot bosses like yours — Lisa teased, making Rosé choke.

— Are you sure you're straight? — she asked irritably, trying to return the provocation. Lalisa laughed and stood up.

— I need to take a shower, I have an appointment with a patient, he should have arrived by now — she said looking at her watch.

— Something serious? — Rosé asked worriedly.

— No, just cats to vaccinate — she shrugged. Lisa was the happiest vet in the world, Rosé had never seen anyone who loved what she did so much. — Oh, do you remember Bogum? — Lisa asked before leaving. From her face, Rosé could tell she wished she had brought up the subject earlier.

— Bogum — Rosé repeated the name, putting her finger to her chin. — Oh, that boy you used to hang out with in college?

— Yes — Lisa confirmed. — I met him again recently, his dog was sick. And he ended up at my clinic. Then he asked me to go out on the weekend.

—That’s cool—Rosé acknowledged.

— Well, only one of his friends is going too — Lisa added.

— And what does that have to do with me? — Rosé wanted to know.

— Oh, come on, Chae. You're not going to leave the poor girl holding the candle, are you? Look, it's just a nightclub that's opening. Bogum got VIP tickets and invited his friends. He said I could bring whoever I wanted.

— Lisa, you know I don't like people — Rosé retorted, making a face.

— Cut it out, it'll be fun. You need to get out more, lately your life has been this work.

— It's not true, I went to a party last month — she tried to defend herself referring to Jisoo's engagement party. Lisa snorted, crossing her arms.

— The party where the girl pinned you against the wall and forced you to take off your clothes?

— I already said it wasn't like that...

— If you come with me, I promise not to cook for a month.

— And what are we going to eat?

— I'll order, buy from restaurants, whatever you want. We won't go hungry.

Rosé thought about it for a minute. A month without eating anything Lisa cooked would be great for her stomach. Even if it meant spending a sleepless night with a bunch of people she didn't know and already hated.

— Okay, Lalisa, you win — Rosé agreed frustratedly. — I'll go with you to that nightclub.

After that, the Thai woman skipped to the bathroom. Rosé finished her coffee and headed to work. It felt so good to arrive on time. She tidied up her desk as she waited for the day’s news. Beside her, Yeji greeted her with a friendly smile. However, the pleasant atmosphere that had been established was interrupted when she saw Jennie enter the office. The younger Kim had a distressed face, and seemed worried about something. Rosé turned to Yeji, who looked just as confused as she was.
