The city, though scarred from the battle, begins to heal. The people rebuild, and life returns to some semblance of normalcy. Teri and Kei stand at the edge of the city, watching the sunrise.
Kei (softly):
"We did it."
Teri smiles, but there's a hint of caution in his eyes.
Teri (seriously):
"For now. The Shroud is gone, but the multiverse is vast. There will always be new threats."
Kei nods, her expression thoughtful.
Kei (quietly):
"And we'll face them. Together."
As the sun rises, they know that their journey is far from over. The multiverse still holds many secrets, and their roles as protectors are only just beginning.
