Amethyst woke up to the sound of crying babies. The babies in the nursery were crying, AGAIN.
Is this what's it's like being a baby? Thank goodness I'm not just a normal baby who cries at every single little thing. I wonder how Ai and my siblings are. I never got to talk to my siblings... I wonder if they're also reincarnated.
A new nurse came into the nursery; one that Amethyst hadn't seen before. "Who's ready for some food?" she asked, waving some bottles with baby formula.
Her response was a bunch of crying babies.
A few other nurses also entered the room with formula bottles. They split up and started feeding all of the babies.
"Here's some formula, little Amethyst!" one of the nurses said, feeding Amethyst. "Your new family is going to be here in the afternoon so be nice for them!"
Huh? Already? Welp, looks like I'll be leaving this hospital soon.
The nurses finished up with feeding the babies and said their farewells to the newborns.
Amethyst was thinking on what she could do in this nursery room. Not much, that's for sure. So she decided to take a nap.
If I can't do anything here, I might as well take a nap to pass the time.
So Amethyst closed her eyes and began to sleep.

When she awoke, she saw two pairs of eyes staring at her.

"Ah, look at her! She's so cute!" said one of the people that was looking at her. The person that spoke was a woman with blond hair.

"Yes, yes, honey, she's very cute." said the other person, who was a dude. He had brown hair.
Amethyst wanted to ask "Who are you?" and was about before she realized she was a baby. It would look incredibly suspicious if a day old baby talked.
