Amethyst woke up the next day to bright sunshine pouring in through an open window. Rin stood beside the open window, breathing in the fresh, morning air.
"Aah, what a nice morning scent!"
Amethyst sat up in her bed, stretching her arms and yawning. Rin heard her yawn and turned around.
"Oh, good morning Ame-chan!" Rin said brightly. "Did you just wake up?"
Gosh, so noisy and it's only the beginning of the day...
She nodded. "Yeah, just woke up." Amethyst was NOT a morning person. On the other hand, Rin seemed to be an early bird.
The early bird in question pointed at the door, which was open. "I think Arakawa and Ichikawa are making breakfast, if you want to eat."
Amethyst nodded, yawning again and rubbing her eyes. "I think I'll go eat."
Rin gave her an enthusiastic thumbs up. "Alright! I'll see you downstairs then. I already brushed my teeth and got changed, soooo..." She waved and rushed out of the room and down the stairs.
Amethyst climbed down the ladder on the side of the bed and noticed that Megumin and Etsuko were already gone.
Bah, more early birds.

Amethyst clambered downstairs after doing her morning routine. She noticed that Meika was making omelettes. Misaki, Asami and Araya were also making breakfast foods like toasting toast, cooking pancakes and waffles and setting up the plates, bowls and cutlery. Araya looked up when Amethyst wandered downstairs and greeted her.
"Good morning!" she said cheerily. "You're, uh, Amethyst, right?" She looked nervous, probably hoping that she had called her the right name.
"Yeah, it's Amethyst," she replied and was met with a sigh of relief. "You making pancakes?"
Araya brightened up. "Yes! Do you want one?" she asked Amethyst hopefully.
Amethyst shook her head. "Sorry, I think I'm going to have an omelette."
Araya hung her head glumly. "Oh... okay.."
Ack, I've made her sad! Quick, cheer her up, me!
"But I'd love to have one tomorrow!"
Araya's head immediately snapped back up, her eyes wide and shining. "R-really!?!?"
Amethyst took a step back, a little surprised by how excited she was. "Y-yeah, really."
"THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU!!!! SOMEONEWANTSTOEATMYPANCAKESYIPPEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Araya excitedly cheered while jumping up and down jubilantly.
