The girls who made in the top ten nervously clustered around the main judge, waiting to see why they had to stay.
The judge dude cleared his throat and said "Ahem, you are probably wondering why you are still here while everyone else gets to leave."
A few of the girls nodded upon hearing this.
"Well, we wanted to keep this conversation private." Private? Why private?
"I am here to inform you that you have all been accepted into the program already. We didn't tell anyone, but getting into the top ten earns you a spot."
All of the girls gasped, looking aghast as this new information came to light.
"You are free to talk amongst yourselves, get to know each other. You may inform your family of this news, but please do not tell any of your friends." With that, the judge exited the room.
"Um... how about we all introduce ourselves?" The girl with orange hair spoke up, the one named Megumin. Ah! She's the one that sang Usseewa!
"Alrighty!" Amethyst replied cheerfully. "I'll go first!"
"My name is Amethyst and I hope we all become idols together!" Amethyst smiled.
"Um... I'll go next then," Megumin spoke up again, raising her hand.
Ooh, the one that sang Usseewa!
"I'm Megumin! You might know me, I'm an influencer!"
Yeah, I think I've seen her on TikTok.
All of the girls introduced themselves, with Amethyst listening eagerly. She wanted to learn as much as possible about the girls should would be living with.
After everyone had introduced themselves, an awkward silence fell around the group.
"Sooooo....." one of the girls spoke up. She had light pink hair wrapped in a ponytail.
Amethyst strained her brain, trying to remember her name. Oh, Yaeko Sakura is her name! I remember because of her sakura colored hair!
Yaeko continued speaking. "What should we do now?"
