Chapter 9: Don't push me away

As soon as I got to school everyone was staring at me. Ellie came running to me with her other friends Tina and Trish.
"I heard you and Carlos kissed at the party". She says.
"So no one can keep secrets around here" I say abruptly.
Tina and Trisha both ask "How was his kiss?".
Ellie then goes "Give her a break" as they giggle.

I walk into class as I see Natalie talking to Carlos. Carlos looks at me as he sits up. I look away and sit next to Martin. Carlos tries to gets up but is pushed back down by Natalia as the teacher walks in.
Martin asks if I'm okay and I just smile. The bell goes as everyone gets up and gets ready to leave. Carlos comes behind me and says

"Follow me".
I catch up behind him and he looks up at me and says "What's wrong?".
"The whole school is calling me slut for hooking up with you". I say annoyedly.
"I'm sorry, Natalie and her friends saw us leaving the bathroom together so she put two and two together".
"Okay, so why are you telling me?". I ask.
"Don't be a bitch I'm trying to explain the situation but you're acting stuck up".
He turns around and leaves.

I hang around with Ellie and Tina as we are just eating lunch and Oscar brings a couple of his friends over.
"Hey Anastasia you ok?". He says
"Good thanks". I reply.
Seconds pass by as Carlos walks in with Natalie hand in hand. I knew he couldn't be trusted.
He looks at me as if his looking right through me.
"Them two together?, when did that happen?". Oscar laughed.
For me it wasn't funny why mess with me, kiss me then to hold hands with someone else.

Once we've finished Oscar suggests we ditch next lesson as we hang out in a usual spot. I was talking to Oscar's friend Jimmy as my phone pings.
"Where r u" it read. I ignore it. As it pings again
"Did you just ignore me?". I switch off my phone.
"Everything ok?" Oscar asks. I nod.

Jackson comes to me and says his lost his phone so I go with him to the gym lockers to help him find it.
