Chapter 27: The final straw

As I walk onto the fields everyone's in groups.
"Anastasia can you join Carmens group please". Mr Bell says.
Fuck. I don't want no drama.
I walk up to them as I avoid Carlos's gaze. I don't want to worry him.
"Right we are going to do races, in your groups you need to get the batoon around the pitch, ok".
He yells.
Carlos tries walking up to me but Mr Bell sees.
"Carlos stop messing around or I'll give you ten taps". He shouts.

We start the races and I see the boys enjoying it as they yell and giggle.
Ellie looks at me and says "You okay".
I smile and nod my head. Deep down she doesn't know how I'm feeling.
Cindy pushes me forward "it's your turn" she says.
I get ready to race as Mr bell is talking to another student.
"On your marks get set go" He shouts.
I'm running and I've never felt this free before. As soon as I come back Natalie enters the track abit to early.
"Get out the way" I yell before I'm plummeted to the ground.
All I can see is blood gushing from my legs as I've scraped it against the floor.
"Call the ambulance" Mr Bell yelling.
I can see everything running around and I can feel Carlos warmth as his covering my pale body.
"Wake up Anny please" Carlos whispers as he pushes my hair out the way.
I can see Ellie and Edgar near Carlos but my eyes decide to shut as I'm unconscious.

I wake up and see Mum Johnny and Amber.
"Oh darling" mum cries as she hugs me.
"I'm fine" I say as I smile.
Amber hugs me tightly as I kiss her forehead.
Johnny looks at me and wipes my tears.
"I'm here don't worry" He says.
"Darling I didn't know you was getting bullied" she impatiently says.
"Mum I'm not" I say.
"Then how did this happen?". She says.
"Leave it mum, when she's ready she will explain". He says.
