Chapter 29: Confrontation

The bell starts ringing as we all leave I leave the room as Carlos follows me.
"You okay" I say to him.
He looks away.
"What is it, just tell me". I usher.
"Cindy kissed me, she was drunk". He says as he looks away.
"Yeah I heard". I reply.
"I'm sorry". He blurts out.
"I mean I knew something like that was going to happen after what they did to me". I say.
"What do you mean?" He says.
"Oh nothing, don't worry Carlos". I reassure him.
"So we are cool right?" He says.
"Yeah why wouldn't we be".

To be fair I don't know what to think. Carlos has changed since everything has happened. He hangs around with Cindy's group more often which is sad after everything they've done to me. I go to the toilets and cry as tears drop down. I'm so confused on what to do. I sit in the toilet cubicle for a while as a hear a banging at the door.
"Anny are you in there, please say something" a voice says.
"I'm here I'm fine what's wrong" i say.
I open the door as I see Ellie she hugs me.
"Oh my god I thought something had happened to you, you suddenly disappeared. Carlos is worried sick". She says.
"Ellie take me to the nurses office I don't feel well I want to go home" I say.
I speak to the nurse as she agrees to let me leave.
I see a call from Carlos but I ignore it. I don't want to speak to him.
As I walk to the front gates I see a boy just a couple years older than me standing in front of the gate. I walk to the gate quickly not drawing any attention as I come towards him. I try to ignore him at first but he comes closer
"Do you know where I can get a hold of my sister?" He says as he fidgets.
"Sister" I say.
"Cindy, she's new she hasn't been here for long". He replies.
Oh great now look who turns up at my school. Her brother. The last person I wanted to see.
