Harper found himself walking down the main strip of a large city holding hands with Anders. He was very noticeable. He was tall, tattooed, pierced in leather pants and a rock and roll t-shirt. Anders was also very famous and he was all his.
Anders had talked Harper into wearing his t-shirt with the band on it and the recent tour dates. Harper would wear it everyday. He almost melted at the thought of wearing Ander's shirt.
"So, do you get noticed a lot?" Harper had to ask.
"Not so much before a concert. Walking around like this, I don't. If I'm wearing leather pants and no shirt, I do. They don't expect me to dress nice, I guess." Anders smiled.
"Like Superman. He wears the glasses and no one knows who he is!"
Anders laughed. "Yes, just like that!"
Anders pulled Harper into a store. It had leather clothing so Anders fit right in.
"Hey man, welcome back!" A man said from behind the counter. He had more tattoos than Anders but not as many piercings. He had blonde wavy hair and very pretty blue eyes. Harper could tell he was happy to see Anders. This was a good friend.
"Patrick. How's it going? How's business?" Anders smiled at his friend and shook his hand as they got to the counter.
"Great! Thanks for your help." Patrick smiled and looked at the man next to him. "And this is?"
"Oh, he is our project!" Anders chuckled because he knew that Harper glared at him. "Really, Patrick, this is Harper."
Patrick smiled and visibly looked at Anders and his hand. He was holding Harper's hand. "A friend?"
"Uh, well, I'm going to marry him someday. But sure, a friend." Anders said and looked at Harper, who was speechless. "So, I need some clothes for him. Real clothes. Got anything. Nothing too showy. I want him to be comfortable."
"Absolutely. Come with me, Sweetheart." Patrick came around the counter and took his arm and walked with him to the dressing rooms.
"Careful, Patrick. He isn't sweet." Anders warned.
"Of course not, he's with you." Patrick teased with a smirk.
Harper just stared at the men. He wanted to glare at Anders but he was still reeling from the marriage comment. Anders said that so casually.
"So, what are you doing with a jackass like that?" Patrick teased.
"Hell if I know, Patrick. I'm waiting for something better to come along." Harper smirked at Anders.
Anders glared at Harper. "Watch it!" He growled. Harper laughed and squeezed his hand. There was nothing better than Anders. No one. Just Anders. Harper loved this man.
"Anders, he's a keeper. Harper, you are just what he needs." Patrick smiled and watched them for a second. "Be right back." He walked around the store and pulled things off the shelves and racks. He had a pile. He walked back and smiled. "I was guessing a 28 inch waist. Was I close?"
Harper smiled. "You are exactly right. Amazing." Patrick handed him some clothes. This would be fun because Harper was a smaller man and Patrick had a ton of clothes for smaller sizes.
"I will wait out here but if you take too long, I'm coming in." Anders warned.
Harper laughed and shook his head. He went to a dressing room thinking that this was a bad idea. He tried on the first thing and was in love with leather. He looked good in it as he turned and posed in the mirror. Leather pants and a very cute shirt with a skull on it. He modeled the clothes for Anders. He was surprised that Anders had good taste. He tried on a leather shirt that laced up the sides and Anders almost drooled.
