Harper woke up in a large bed and it was dark out. He felt strange and he knew what this was. This was what being hungry felt like.

"Good evening or good morning in our world." Anders was there. He looked amazing and uninjured. "Hungry?"

"Yes. Did I sleep all day?" Harper smiled and sat up as Anders handed him a warm bag of blood. He bit into it without thinking about it. It was delicious and he wasn't expecting that. "Thanks." He handed the empty bag back and watched Anders throw it away. " Where are we?"

"My dad's house. I still need to talk to him and I was putting it off until you woke up. It's normal to sleep a lot for a couple of days after you're turned. And two days because I know you are about to ask. You slept for two days so I brought you here because it's roomier and more comfortable than a couch on the bus." He slid into bed with him and pulled him close.

"How are you feeling?" Harper was making sure Anders was okay.

Anders kissed him gently. "I'm just...fine." He kissed Harper in between his words. The kiss deepened and Harper became desperate for him. "This is nice."

Harper stopped the next kiss and looked at his face. "What?"

"I don't have to worry about killing you anymore." Anders clarified. "What do I do with you now?" He smiled at Harper.

Harper laughed. "I don't know! Now that I'm not human, I'm no longer a challenge?"

Anders looked shocked. "No, Harper! On the contrary, you are available and that scares the shit out of me. Now, I...you know...I didn't mean that I wasn't interested. I meant that I am thrilled that I won't kill you. I haven't dated since I was a vampire and I'm clueless. I can scream at crowds but being alone with you...Scares me."

Harper smiled. "That was a lot of stammering, Anders. Are you okay?" He loved watching Anders sweat.

Anders glared. "I hate you so much!"

"I hate you too." Harper laughed and Anders jumped on him and pressed his body into the mattress, hard. "Please don't be gentle." Harper looked into Anders' dark eyes.

"Hell, I wasn't thinking about being gentle, Harper. You better hold on to something." Anders growled and roughly removed Harper's clothes. He wanted to show Harper what he really thought of him. Harper saved his life. Anders belonged to him.

Harper laughed as Anders was tossing shreds of clothing until he caught Anders' gaze. Harper inhaled sharply.

"I love you." Anders whispered.

"I love you too." Harper whispered back and surrendered to whatever bliss Anders could offer. He was his.
