Exoia was sitting in the bunker with the other members of The Rebellion, his chair leaning on its two back legs, wobbling under his weight. He was debating whether or not to charge Chaos at the current moment. They had the All-Power, they had the most powerful Gods and Goddesses, they had the Giganton God of destruction, they had Mortals with strength even Gods envied them.
"I think we're ready to take on Chaos," Exoia said, bringing the chair to rest on all four of its legs. All the people in the room looked over to him as he said it, and they fell silent as he continued. "We have the All-Power, we have Gods, we have a Giganton, we have Mortals with Godly strength. We can take down Chaos without the rest of the Guardians," Exoia said, standing up to appear more confident in himself and his belief.
"That's a terrible plan and an even worse idea," The All-Power, John Nobody said, as he puffed some smoke and removed the cigarette from his mouth stepping away from the wall he leaned against. "Even with our current power, the prophecy said-"
"I don't care what the prophecy said," Exoia cut him off. "We have you, we have the Goddess of Nature, we have the power," Exoia continued, stepping closer to John to appear more intimidating.
"Exoia, this is a suicide mission, a death wish," John said, stepping back and putting the cigarette back into his mouth, creating fire at his fingertips to light it again.
"Who's coming with me?" Exoia said, looking around the room, puffing out his chest. The many Gods and Mortals in the room looked at each other nervously, the All-Power didn't believe they could defeat Chaos now, but do they trust him? Or the King of Gods? The Goddess of Nature, Synysia, stepped forward. She stood tall over even Exoia.
"Even without every Guardian by our side, I must agree, our power is undeniable, defeating Chaos is a possibility," she said to Exoia.
"Any others want to join the King of Gods and Goddess of Nature?" Exoia said to the others, showing that two of the most powerful Gods were confident in being able to defeat Chaos. The other Gods and Mortals murmured and discussed with each other. Both sides of the argument had their points, but eventually, one by one, each God and Mortal joined Exoia, ready to enter battle. Even the All-Power reluctantly stepped forward.
"I still don't think this is a good idea, but I will tag along," John said, his tone reluctant and pessimistic.
"Then off to Chaos' palace we go," Exoia said to the others in his group. Exoia ventured out of the bunker, the others following suit. The group went across their claimed land, all the way up to Chaos' palace. The land that Chaos still owned, between his palace and their land, was barren and bloodied from battle, and the corpses of long dead Monsters littered the fields that were once populated with Gods and Humans. Weapons were discarded along the ground, either lying there or sticking out of the earth. The group approached Chaos' palace, and, as they did, Chaos came into focus. He was on the balcony above the entrance to his palace.
"Finally come to fight me, I see?" Chaos said to the group of Gods below him. His words alone gave chills down their spines and caused the hairs along their body to rise with goosebumps. "I don't see my least favorite son in that group? Did he finally come to his senses and ditch you weaklings?"
"It's none of your business. You have us to worry about instead," Exoia said, knowing what Ataxia was doing at the moment and puffing out his chest, attempting to match Chaos' stature. Chaos simply laughed at this.
"Worry? You are foolish to think I need to worry about such pitiful creatures such as yourselves." Chaos leaped off the balcony, slamming into the earth below, causing the ground to shatter from his power. "What are you fools going to do to me? Death is inevitable for you, but me, I'll continue on with my reign, and snuff out the fire of hope you falsely created." Chaos cracked his knuckles as he rose from the crater he created.
"I alone can defeat you, Chaos," Synysia said as she emerged from the crowd of Gods. "I will fight you right now, even with the hindrance of Ataxia not being present, we will defeat you."
"Very confident in your ability I see," Chaos said, smirking. "Though ego is easily shattered like glass. Now come at me, give me everything you've got," Chaos said, bringing his arms to his side, opening up his chest, prone to attack. Synysia took a deep breath, as she did she began to grow in size, matching Chaos' staggering height.
"Speaking of ego, that's the reason I left you and the kids, Chaos." Synysia said, glaring down Chaos.
"You've always been one to go for the low blows," Chaos chuckled, his chest still prone to attack. The Nature Goddess brought her hand up into the air, as if she were raising a glass for a toast, and hundreds of vines emerged from the earth and wrapped themselves around Chaos, binding him. Chaos remained unphased as the vines confined him.
"If you hadn't stroked your own ego all the time, maybe I wouldn't have left you," Synysia said, bringing herself closer to Chaos, meeting his gaze.
"That may be true, but you see, you're still weak and pitiful, as you were even when we were together," Chaos said, still bound by the vines. Synysia glared down Chaos again, the rage and fury inside her starting to boil.
"You never stood a chance against me, honey," Chaos said, breaking the vines without even moving. Synysia's eyes widened. Chaos then grabbed her head and shoulders with his hands. "Now let me show you my power." He pulled his hands apart. As he did, two orbs of light formed in his hand, one golden and one a light blue. The Goddesses' lifeless body now fell to the floor.
"This is the most powerful Goddess's soul and mind," Chaos said, lifting up his two hands, showing the orbs to the now stunned group of Gods. "If I managed to kill the most powerful Goddess with no effort, imagine what I'll do to you." Chaos let his words sink in, the group of Gods stared, petrified at him.
"Now scram, before I decide you're worth killing." Chaos turned his back to the Gods and stomped away to his palace, as if killing a God was a simple feat.
