Callie and Alex moved in with their aunt, which apparently has been watching them for a while now. She told me that she is Gabrielle's mom. I don't care; what I care about is why Alex and Calista didn't tell me they were getting abused.

I guess they showed signs, but I was oblivious and didn't see it. 'How fucking stupid am I!' I groan at how stupid I've been all these years. I mean, the bruises on Alex, the black eye, I mean, damn.

I'm going to see him in the hospital. Erik broke his nose and one of his ribs. He was unconscious for two days due to exhaustion. But he woke up last night, I'm just glad Callie told me.

I throw on some gray sweats and a black hoodie and head downstairs, grabbing my phone and car keys. I don't feel like riding my bike. Yes, I have a motorcycle and she's my baby. She's a Ducati Panigale V4, but I'm tired and it's cold, so I'm driving my Matte black Jeep Wrangler. I grab my phone and shoot Callie a quick text.

Me: I'm on my way now

It takes her a little while to reply, probably busy with Camilla, her aunt.

Bellatrix: Alright, be quiet because he's sleeping now.

Me: Okay

I put my phone in my pocket and get in my car. My stomach grumbles, and I head to McDonald's. I get a Double Bacon and Egg McMuffin, and I get the same thing for Alex. I get Pancakes and some syrup for Calista.

I pay for the food and head to the hospital. It takes me 10 minutes to get there. I get the food and walk into reception. She sees me walk in and fixes her shirt, revealing her nonexistent cleavage. I mentally roll my eyes.

"I'm here for Alexander Perez," I tell her as she looks me up and down. She looks up his name.

"He's in room 602. I was wonderi-" I walk away, not interested in her anymore. "Hey!" She calls out. Again, I roll my eyes, stepping into the elevator, eating a hash brown.

The elevator opens, and I step out into the hall, seeing Callie talking to a nurse. I examine her outfit; she's in some brown scuffette Ugg boots and some red plaid pajama pants, with a white hoodie.

I walk up to her, and she continues talking to the nurse. "He has a concussion as well?" She asks, furrowing her eyebrows.

The nurse nods, "I'm afraid so, I see he is a soccer player?" Callie nods. "Okay, he can not play soccer for at least 5 days." Calista's eyes widen.

"But there is a soccer game on Tuesday. Soccer is his life." The nurse sends a sympathetic look Callie's way.

"I apologize, but Tuesday is in 2 days, if his head gets hit just a little tap, he could be in danger." The nurse explains to Callie, who is on the verge of tears.

"But bu-" "Thank you, Have a good rest of your day." I cut Callie off and head to Alex's room.

"Are you okay, Cal?" She shakes her head.
